Hi guys not corrado related so sorry if its in the wrong place. But I am looking for a bit of info and were else to find VW related info. Would a 16v golf turbo technics kit fit my 2.0l 16v lump. from an H reg passat. Currently residing in my Mk1 cabby project? Cheers for the help. Tim

Seats, carpets & doorcards took me about 2 hours with 2 of us at it. Only ballache was the rear seat backs. For some reason although the interior was out of the same year c the fixings were different. Out came the angle grinder :lol:

Havnt seen that. TBH I keep my old plates and a roll of tape in the boot just in case i need to use the" sorry officer have just got back from a vw meet" line

http://www.germanplates.com. Really good. Mailed me back to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. Didnt want the D on them as I hope to get away with not drawing too much attention from the long arm. So far so good. They have been on for about a month now. Splitter was damn expensive but really helps to tidy up the front end. Thought I had a bargin though at £87 but he forgot to mention that there was vat to go on top :mad: Oh well :oops:

Well bit the bullet and bought a new front splitter from GPC. £102.10 inc delivery and VAT :mad: . Nearly choked on me pastie but the old one was more fibreglass than plastic :oops: So got it fitted dreckley and stuck on my german plates as well. Mate of mine who is a member of our estemed law enforcement was looking round the car and didnt metion a thing 8) Just got to find the time (or someone with the time) to give her a good polish.......... :lol:

Fitted my ddi dials today and am well happy with the results. Also wired in my boost guage. Just need to paint the needles with something to match the boost gauge. Some kind of flouresent orange. Any suggetions to a good product 8)

Sorry meant the car battery. The G60 type keys that you get on ebay with the cover for the balde dosnt fit in the boot lock on a c. So if you cant open with the central locking its a bit of a pain if you have to go get your master key. Especially if you are at gatwick airport after a 2 week holiday and your master key is in Cornwall. :oops:

Watch them though. If you have delocked front handles and the battrey goes you cant get in the boot with it :oops:

Got one of these today. Will get some pictures up when it is all fitted properly. Really good work. Think he has got only the early one at the moment but Edition1 is working on a late one. Best solution I could find at the moment and looks quite factory. Vent even still works. I think someone on here already has one fitted. Looing forward to seeing what else he has in the pipeline. :lol: Tim

What intercolers would everyone reccomend to fit. Dont want to do too much cutting and have been looking for a golf one for a while. Seem to be about as rare as rocking horse poo. :lol: Or what do peps think of the Jabba kit..............

Front mount is what I am thinking........... Exuast has been done so got that covered. What sort of gains would the front mount do for her. As I know that I have a bit of a boost leak coming from the old one.
