both steering rack gaiters last time. Generally not too bad.
-
Why not somewhere like sandsifter where there is a car park and food/drink. Or hells mouth cafe. Nice location as well as a good cuppa. Not too keen personally in sitting in a car park 8) :camp:
-
I want that so much but the wife would kill me :(
-
Not in my C the car parks awful  Fry ups are great though. TBH the last time we had a meet there it was a right pain as they were so busy and everyone just sat in their own little groups. The one we had at the jamaica in was good as was the one at widemouth bay. Both at pubs with big car parks.
-
Ah thats a while ago now. For a little while we did get our act together and have a couple of meets. Should get on the case again really.

MOT time today. 2 steering rack gaiters, 1 windscreen wiper and free a bias valve. 12 more months of happy motoring. just had to share as it was a good day. Though I just know there is quite a few things to do in the next 12 months. :(

TBH i am going to run mine on the posh stuff from now on. even though she is a daily the extra miles i get make up for the cost. Dont get tesco 99 down ere
-
That will explain the extra 40 or so miles I got from a tank last time i filled her up then  I was always too tight to put the rich stufff in but have been told by many its much better for the g60 engine.

In the real world you don't go from 0-60.... Edit: Oh, Tom got there first.... I just think (not saying the OP does) that some people feel inadequate next to the VR6. There's nothing wrong with wanting to own a 16v. They're great cars in they're own right. We have these discussions so much and nobody can resist posting but nobody ever changes their mind based on the opinions of others. I say drive the one you like the best and to hell with what anyone else thinks. I've met plenty of people that think ALL Corrados are complete rubbish. That's just they're opinion and shouldn't be held in any less regard than someone who says the VR is "better" than a 16v because you may feel completely different when you drive them yourself. Too true. love the 16v engine in the wifeys car. Love my mildly tuned g60. went for a long test drive in a vr and hated it. felt so unresponsive and heavy compared to the other two. (hides behind sofa) :help: But it really is a case of driving them all and trying them out as it is such a personal thing. just because your engine is bigger dont always mean its better :camp:

Had the same problem on mine. Turned out it was a little piece of plastic broken in the switch on the indicator stalk. One 2nd hand stalk later all ok. Not to hard to change either.

Yes please. In blue :notworthy: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIAL/C ... us_rs.html

Will need to. Sorry did not get back to your pm. I have changed my number will pm you the new one when sue gets home as I havnt got a clue what it is... As bad as you. I wish. Unfortunally mine has just sat and rotted for 6 months. There is loads more little patches starting to appear and the paint is even more shocking. Hows the G60 coming on? Might have a newly rebuilt charger up for sale soon. Am toying with turbo ideas....

Well started work on her again. My birthday in 4 weeks and the wife has said she will Tax her for me if I get her all ready....... Dont need anymore encouragemant than that  I love my wifey and my car So I wont give you any photos as she was this morning as she has sat in a barn for 6 months and was a little grubby to say the least :( Today I have. Taken the old m3 style rears out that had a cracked unit. Made a full set from the 2nd hand ones I had. Masked them off and sprayed the crappy silver black. Fixed the passanger door handle, And whilst I was there prepped both of the handles and painted them black. All these are in the greenhouse being baked as we speak before c coat of laquer tommorow. Taken the weehls off one side of the car and scrubbed the arches out then loosened off the coilies. Then repainted the calipers red. Cleaned both wheels. God they have suffered over the winter :bad-words: Stripped out all the old ice to fit new cables and sub and all new speakers. Oh and take the drivers seat to get the bolster fixed and all the leather restored.... So good start. Will get some piccies up soon. Now its time to get cleaned up and go for a well earned pint or 2 before round 2

work :censored: -
oooh now I like them  Could practice on the old ones.
-
mmmhhh sound nice but would probably be really expensive and I am oly having to change/ replace them as I foolishly broke one of the indicator units on my red/clear ones.
-
Nope not just yours. Think all the FK style one has that problem. Thinking whichever I get I am going to try and split then paint them black. Will try it out on my old ones first of course
-
Help :help: Ive been looking for new rears fro the c after foolishly breaking one of my red/clear indicators. Its only a silly little hole about the size of a 10p but they are fooked. I have found this site that is really cheep for the FK rears and they have both the styles. http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /9318.html Black/red http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /9316.html white/red And I now cant decide which to get. Think both would look on a black car but need pictures to decide. Can anyone :help: Cheers Tim

Had another search and someone thought a similar problem might be an air mass flow meter or something!

Hi all. Its not about the c, But the better half has a 9a engine in her cabby 8) The car ran great when we put the engine in. After a while we started noticing that the engine sometimes started to hunt wildly from 1000rmp right up to the limiter. Sometimes it would sort its self out if you let her out of gear. And sometimes you had to stop the engine and give her a couple of mins. I thought ISV so have replaced it with a new one. (brand new in the box  ). Now she hunts from 1000rpm to 2000rpm constantly. I cant see any obvious hose leaks. Any =thing else to look for or any one had the same problem thatcan shed some light on it for me. HELP.. Many thanks Tim
