Always on full power really. unless i am doing long distances and the ddi's are burning my eyes. Is that just the normal bulb replaced or a new install. Looking great. Will have to get it sent off to you after the switches aare done.. -

Fresh granary bread, a light coating of helmanns, parma ham, creamy cornish brie and some rocket. God I am hungry now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had it out so many times that I have it down to about an hour and a half. The hardest thing was trying to get the roof to sit as flush as possible. They are a slightly diffrent shape to the c ones so its a bit of a comprimise. Slightly low at the corners and slightly high in the middle but we are only talking a couple of mm's. I used some window packers to bring the front down and some longer bolts. Followed by a hosepipe test for leaks.

Welll ive been all quite here at the mo. But am still trying to get her sorted. Have in the last couple of weeks. New Powerflow exhaust. ( i know but they are local and a good price. and tbh they did a good job.) Fitted a moonroof from a passat. Recon rear calipers. Front struts. Rear bushes. And finally got a new lambda probe put on which has cured all my running problems. And have fallen back in love with her again  Some piccies.

Any VR owners felt the need to get a 2nd car?

Yup, Another raddo  -
Had a guy from TPS saying genuine corrado mats are cheep at the moment as well. Shame the bloody logo wears off on they quicker that a quick thing..
-
See thats why I love this place. Will give it a go tommorow fella. Would be easier than taking more roofs out of cars
-
Well there is a lesson to be learned here. Check the bloody thing before you remove it from the car,,,,,,,,,,,, It tilts ok and I have got it almost spot on by packing the front out and adjusting the bolts on the panal. Only took and hour and a half to swop them over. But it wont slide. Will have to take it apart and regrease everything. I can do it manually but it is just too much for it with the motor. And one of the little metal things that engages when you put it into slide jams up. Oh well. Might see if I can get the vento one to fit.

I just had to replace both of the units in the grill. £16.84 from mill auto.
-
But it will work. I have been through 4 roofs now. Each one I get working for about a month then the guids snap. Guess that is the only problem with 2nd hand. And will be a bit different
-
well will have a looky next week. would be handy to know.
-
The passat was an estate. Am going to ge the toledo one next week if its still there. Anyone any idea about the vento? t
-
Yup, spent an afternoon at a local scrappy. The panals on the vento, mk1 toledo, goof mk3 and passat have the same size panals. I only tok the one out of the pissrat, though am going to go back next week to canabalise the rest to see what the internals look like

Sorry just had to share :D :D

Well anothers years expensive motering lies ahead of me. She has passed her mot. All i had to do before was the 2 front top mounts, 2 rear wheel bearings and a rear caliper. So not too bad for a year. They were all advisories last time so to be expected. This year all she got was advisories on Exhast too loud and a leak from the manifold, So as a thank you she is getting a full new stainless system as a thanks

I am after Headlights both windows sunroof rear screen demister fogs switch. Think thats 7. All of them tbh. Would be good if you could do the heater surround as well. In blue. I have a spare headlight switch so think I could live without the rest for a couple of days!! (Daily Driver) Give me an idea of price and turnaround if you could. Cheers Tim -
Cant find any help in the search. I have tried honest  When I move the headlight switch to the first position my sides used to come on. Now both the sidelights and dipped come on. I thought it was the switch so got a new one from the dealers. It still does the same though. Both the fuses on the uprated loom are ok and I havnt touched anything else since the last mot that might have affected it. Help :help:

Had a look at one in the flesh yesterday at the local vw dealers. Didnt like it in the pics but in the flesh it is fapping lovely. Just needs lowered a bit though.

Nothing on the corrado other than fitting a set of mudflaps on the rear. On the goof Cabby its another story....... New gearbox. Front shock inserts. ( absoulute PITA. to do ). Wishbones Arb bushes. Top mounts. Clutch. And finally ready for MOT. And started work on another toy. 14ft Shakespear with a 70hp on the end. Might get her in the water this year but I doubt it as she needs a full restoration and engine rebuild.
-
I think thats what I am trying to say junkie. I very rarley launch her away in first ( have already done in one gearbox  ) But she seems so much better when chucking her around lanes going up and down between 3rd-4th & 5th. I love the power about 3.5k. The G was always good here but it really does seem to throw you back more than before.
