Hi mate, yup that is all ok with me. I'll get it all wrapped/boxed for you...... Maybe pm me nearer the time with your details/my details etc Laurence

Ok mate that sounds fine to me, provisionally yours! : ))

yup if you want to install original corrado washer jets (visible from the outside) you will need to drill a couple of holes. i was originally planning on this until i saw john mitchel's car.....he used mk4 golf washer jets which are mounted to the underside of the bonnet (look at a mk4) this would require a couple of holes to be drilled to fix into the carbon but i think gives a much neater solution. all simple stuff.

i would have thought that it is fairly easy to fit, very light but you would need a friend to hold while it is bolted up to the hinges. i did not actually fit the bonnet so haven't put one on a car but I've seen John Mitchell's car (JMR) and his one seemed to fit perfectly, correct size and the shut lines were correct and even. this has a hole/slot for the bonnet stay, it also has treaded inserts ready to take the original corrado bonnet pins, so no need for aftermaket/motorsport pins. perhaps someone with one fitted can comment......

wish i had a bird that bought me cool car parts, they only ever seem to cost me a load of money!

Not sure what the actual saving is, the full carbon one is about 4.5kgs, the original steel one is, well, bloody heavy! sure someone on here will know what an original weighs? Huge difference anyway. L

I reckon lws are really good actually, I was very particular about the quality with them and I think they made an excellent good job of my bonnet : ) I was planning to use carbon in just the engine bay and keep the outside of the car very oem looking so was actually going to paint the outside when the car was painted, I made sure that lws made the inside just as good as the topside so that it would be show worthy, unfortunately I never got that far as it had to make way for the porsche, bloody miss the raddo thought!! I definately would have had more parts from lws, particularly the tailgate..... L

Hi Everyone i have a brand new, never fitted full carbon bonnet for sale. in perfect condition, this is carbon in and out as you will see in the pics. i had this made by LWS for my R32 which is now gone, so i really have no need for it apart from it looking cool in my office! i paid £520 for it in the group buy deal a while back, i will sell it for £500 (no offers)cash on collection preferably or paypal as a gift. it really needs to be picked up but if there was someone miles away you could arrange a courier to pick it up at your own responsibility, i would obviously pack it as well as possible. i am located near Bournemouth. laurence.

Car is now sold to a nice chap called Paul, from Cornwall , sure he will be on the forum : ) Thanks to everyone who expressed their interest, end of an era for me, the various corrados have been a lot of fun over the years, on to a porsche now which I'm looking forward to! : )) R32 | ice grey violet | dorset Price: £5500 Description: Hi Everyone Well unfortunately the time to sell has come, I've absolutely loved owning this car and feel lucky to have done so, its a pretty special one which is well known on this forum, car used to belong to Mr Kev Haywire and he is the one who should take the credit for building/developing such a really great car! As those who have followed the car will know it started out as a vr6, then supercharged, then turbo'd and now with an R32, perhaps if its not to much to ask could either Kev or one of the mods perhaps do a link to Kev's build thread please? Have a good look through, you will see that it is extremely comprehensive, it is in fact why i was so confident buying this car from Kev as the guy really knows his stuff and has done the conversion and the whole car properly! I have owned the car since Oct 2012 and have just made a few changes since purchasing it, slightly lower, legal metal plates, black rear plate plinth, short ariel with new base, good clean and machine polish/wax, lots of cleaning the inside and replacing various plastic trims, installed the quite rare cloth electric Recaro's (in blk). It has also had a new sump, a coilpack, and accelerator pedal. I did have great plans for this car, basically a usable show car was what i was going to go for but i've been offered a lovely 911 that i just couldn't pass up so this sadly has to go : (. There are a ton of parts included in the sale, i would like to sell this as a job lot with the car which will hopefully go to an enthusiast with the Corrado love! There really are too many bits to mention, Kev passed quite a bit on to me including a spare gear box, pas door, sunroof bits, service items, steering rack, wing mirror, high flow fuel pump, sports cat, manifolds, extra set of speedlines with snow tyres! I've also been collecting bits over the years, std gear knob and steering wheel, brand new blk samco hoses, some of Dave16v's under bonnet stainless goodies, de-locked handles/mechs, lots of interior trim and probably a whole load of bits ive forgotten (i will have a good look and make a list!) Not included in the sale are a brand new full carbon bonnet and a set of 16" BBS RS wheels so if someone is interested we could talk about those items in addition...... So in short; its an R32 (mapped by Stealth Racing to something over 260hp, although Kev reckoned there is more to come), with a shorter final drive gearing, quafe limited slip diff, vibratechnics mounts, uprated bushes (r32/tt i think), KW V3 coil overs, rear strut brace, 288 brakes, mint speedlines with continental sport contact tyres with lots of tread, recent mot and tax, lovely cloth electric Recaros , everything works, abs, spoiler, sunroof etc. Only thing that lets it down slightly is that the paint isn't perfect although its acceptable. I have put up some pics from when i bought the car from Kev, will try to take some new ones over the weekend... Car will be available for viewing from tues night next week as i'm flat out till then. im asking £5500 and will not take any offers, that is what the car owes me minus the replacement bits I've done since ownership, therefore the van load of parts should be viewed as a massive freebie to the right person who is going to take care of this car in the future. Either message me on here or call me 07703287739 (my phone won't take voicemail so if i don't answer drop me a txt) Laurence.

Paul Would you do the boot carpet and the boot side carpets for £50 posted? Also, I read a few pages back that the roof rubbers are no good, but if you are just going to chuck them......could I have them as I want to do a little experiment that involves cutting them about and frankly might be a waste of time anyway, but worth a go! Cheers, Laurence. ---------- Post added at 9:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 9:27 AM ---------- Paul Would you do the boot carpet and the boot side carpets for £50 posted? Still interested in the carpets if you would post....... -
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who organised the club stand, nice cake also! Was a really good turn out in a great setting, nice to meet some of you guys and put faces to names/cars. The standard of some of the cars on the stand was really very high, a couple of them should have been over next to kip's in the concourse! Rest of the show was also really good, did you see that black porsche 912 with the red leather.....wow! Think I saw a pic on a previous page, saving now! Oh and Dave, thanks for getting all those bits done for me, hopefully next year mine will be looking a bit smarter! Laurence

hi i know your ad says collection only, but your in Cumbria and i'm in Dorset!!......So i'm wondering if you would be prepared to send the boot carpets to me? kinda risk free as they cant really break? Im after the two rear arch side pieces and the floor carpet that goes over the spare wheel (as pictured) i'm obviously more than happy to pay the postage, in the past i've used http://www.interparcel.com for very reasonable couriers if that helps. let me know, laurence. -
Nice choice there Kev : )) Sure it will be going faster soon.......
