If it has JWL or VIA stamped on the rim like this:- JWL is a logo of the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport that certifies that an alloy wheel has passed the safety standards, like the European "T

Your best bet is to take the door panel off and have a look for yourself. Only takes about 5 minutes to remove. Hopefully the glass has come adrift from the rear guide, although that really shouldn't happen if it was fitted correctly in the first place.

Ah...the old Schumacher wheelie king stadium truck. They really should have made that model in 4 wheel drive.

Right....i never did get any pics sorted of my buggies but i will over the next few days. In the meantime...after a rather longer wait than i anticipated i now have my Corrado shell all sprayed up and awaiting cutting and fitting...whenever i get round to it. Here's a pic of the shell going through quality control. She doesn't look too impressed does she ?

Does anyone have any idea how close a match Blue Pearl Effect (LC5Z) is to Inca Blue Metallic (LK5T)?

Speaking as an HGV (or rather LGV) driver myself, i'm rather looking forward to seeing how the three of them cope with driving a truck. I remember when they all had to go out and buy a tractor each  -
Starter on the right is the early one and starter on left is the later one. Mounting holes are spaced differently. Starter motor housing on later motor is bigger diameter. Main shaft/spindle is shorter and smaller diameter on later starter. Bendix on later starter has shorter throw.
-
Well....i can confirm that the early and late starter motor are not the same. I ordered a motor to fit an engine up to a 1991 and my supplier sent me a later one which doesn't fit. I will post in here pics and details of the differences a little later tonight.

The foam box filter is made by Pipercross model number PK223.

Do you reckon that bad boy bonnet is custom made or off the shelf?

It's not a car.....it's a Fiat

Sell the electric one you have and buy an IC powered one. I'll stick some pics up of my three babies tomorrow.

Just been looking around the net and most parts places list one starter for up to 1991 and another for after 1991. Some 1991 onwards starters also seem to be provided with a gearbox bush.

Etka doen't seem to be very clear on this fact so does anyone know if all KR engined Corrados were fitted with the same starter motor? If not....are they interchangable?

I think it should be more of a question of how fast the engine can suck air in when it needs it. Better throttle response (when the mixture is correct). Anyhew...i hope we haven't fightened Will.s away from the Forum

If your air box looks like this then it's a Pipercross PK223 filter

K and N don't make a foam filter box for a valver. Pipercross make a foam filter air box with a stainless steel frame. Can't say i've ever heard of a "roar air box" before either. Are you sure you don't mean a Rohr inlet pipe? Because you are running an open foam filter the engine will be sucking in more air than it would with the standard air box. Assuming you have a pre-cat valver:- My advice is to richen the mixture by turning the mixture screw 1/8th of a turn clockwise. Test run the car and if still not right turn another 1/8th at a time untill you get the right result. Obviously if it gets worse richening you will need to lean out the mixture 1/8th turn at a time. If you solve the problem this way take the car to a garage to have an emission test just to make sure you are still running legally. I wouldn't say that a straight through exhaust would be doing you any favours to be honest. From experience anything less than a two box exhaust system can cause rough running at some point through the rev range.

If you have a lot of back trouble then a two door car is not for you. Unless you want to sit the baby in the front and the Mrs in the back. It can be very stressfull on your back later on when the little one starts to gain weight. You will have to stoop and at the same time be very carefull not to catch the baby's head on the roof or the door pillar. On the up side....there are no rear doors or door handles for a small child to fiddle with.

There used to be a nice purpose built track up in Ripley for RC cars. Not sure if it's still there or not. Don't suppose anyone is still supplying forum stickers these days? Otherwise i'll have to get some made up locally.

Just check against the wheelbase and width dimensions i gave earlier in the post.
