    Help needed!

If you have the front grill off the car then it's a doddle to get the bonnet open.....PM me if you need details
  3. No worries.....glad u managed to sort it :)
  4. The fuse box is located in the drivers side footwell just above where your right leg would be. In reference to the horn not working....check the spade connectors on both the horns which are located behind the front grill. If you have no joy there then you will need to have a look at the horn push switch in the centre of the steering wheel.
  5. This is what happens when a man has too much time and money on his hands......love it
  6. As soon as he mentioned about the pad thickness i thought.... he must have eyesight like superman to see that.
  7. My C failed it's MOT on the following:- Both headlights poorly aligned ---------------------------yup fair enough Both headlights have poor light output------------------yup the rear reflectors are shot N/S rear handbrake poor to nill efficiency--------------typical but i reckon he meant to say offside (he makes this mistake often) o/s front arch liner fouling front wheel on full lock-----yup was two screws missing Front brake pads less than 1.5mm thickness------------what a load of b*ll*cks So after forking out for a set of Mintex brake pads i remove the old ones to find that the most worn pad was still 5mm thick. Rather cheesed off and will be shoving the old pads where the sun doesn't shine when i take the car back for a retest.
  8. Make shure you have the head skimmed otherwise you'll be changing the head gasket again in the near future.
  9. Looking very tidy....rare colour and rare engine as well
  10. Just found some Inpros here:- http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_ ... y=Lighting but they're even dearer
  11. The reflectors are shot......great idea about the Plasti-kote
  12. I meant standard headlights.....should have made that clear really should't i.... :ignore:
  13. Thanks for that.....shocking price though
  14. None listed on their website :-(
  15. Doh!!! second time i've done that
  16. Does anyone here know of anywhere i can buy Inpro headlights from in the UK? I need them pretty quick so any help appreciated.
  17. I'm usually quite liberal when it comes to strange mods on cars but i have to say that spoiler looks completely wrong on the back of a C.
  18. I take it that you are not studying English language then?
  19. i've changed seven ignition switches in seven different Corrados over the past 4 years and none of them have ever taken the same amount of time to change. Some ignition switches seem to be mounted closer to the column than others. I will add that i've never felt the need to remove the drivers seat but on one particular late model VR did find myself laying/sitting upside down on the seat to try and see where that little bugger of a screw was. Two cars i managed to change the switch in around ten minutes. The others took between 20 minutes and a whole hour. Anyone else here noticed how some seem to be easy to change while others are a pain in the proverbial?
  20. Nice clean, straight looking C you have there.

    dual exit

I've also read in here somewhere that Powerflow will make one up also. I should imagine any custom exhaust centre would make you one for a price. Pay Top Gear in Cardiff a visit...they may be able to accomodate...otherwise shouldn't be too difficult to do it yourself. Think i might have a bash at doing this.

    dual exit

Can be done. Seen them for the Golf MK2. Look at ebay item number 160208024638. For example you could take a Scorpion back box ...cut the right hand exit pipe and add a custom exit pipe that feeds to the right. Plenty of room at the rear of the petrol tank for a single pipe but not really enough room for a box with side exits
  23. Dave's modified arm will replace that part you are showing in the photo.
