I read somewhere or other that there's a big meet for corrado's next month,thought it was the Corrado Club GB but cant seem to acces their site anymore? Anyway does anyone know about this cos if you have got to be a member before hand I wanna join!!! Cheers

mate, id stick with the car - loads safer, if Id had a bike @ 21 I dont think I would have lasted very long at all! Just sold my m/bike by the way.....ignored all the stories about people getting hurt till my best mate came off pretty badly,sold it on monday to a dealer 3 weeks after may mates accident.

ive had a race with an mr2 upto about a ton and it was pretty much even which i thought was pretty good for a standard g60,Mr2 is about 7.5 to 60. Like to see the same car again now mine is Stg4 chip n'pulley'd,jetex,no cat and k&n........thats if its on a day where its going well ! about 1 in every 2 days......

surely it must be loads easier to sell the valver and buy a clean high'ish mileage G60 thats had the charger rebuilt?

was anyone running the strip last w/end from this forum cos we saw at least 4 corrados on the strip - very late 15's or 16's they seemed to be doing? Nice black G60 giving what looked like a 944 Turbo a good run for its money! Just interested to know what mods the G60's were running.

...... -120mm, must be getting old @ 29 cos its difficult enough to get in and out the C at standard ride height lol.....dont think my back will take -120.

Chris - as far as I understand it the Giro Valve stops boost venting off,especially at low revs thus giving greater boost and better pick up.

Leew - cheers for the advice at the w/end,got in touch with Ridgeway today and they r £45 incl vat but they may be up @ santa pod at the w/end so hopefully I'll buy one there, if not then I will order via phone from them next week. Jabba wanted £45 plus vat so not interested there! (funny thought id forget Giro not the tuners name!!!!) Gti Festival - how does the 1/4 mile run work? Is it pay on the day and do they time 0-60's as well? Hopefully I wont regret doing the sprint as an engine mount on my C is far from 100% - never been there before is it worth the trip?

Spoke to a nice chap from Corado Club stand on Sunday (Stanor Park - hope I spelt that right!) anyway was having a good chat about further mods and noticed a shiny object in his bay! Turned out to be a giro valve which stops the boost venting off,said I could order one from Ridgeway Performance but cant find a web site or number.......anyone advise me where I can order one from as this sort of mod(easy to do @ the w/end,cheap and makes a diff. to performance)is right up my street! cheers!

dazzy and scott - I'll race ya both.....think I'll leave the G60 at home and bring my bike though! Anyone know why one day my G60 can be running great (and quick as I suspect a Vr6) and the next day it's running pants! Need to get in booked into a rolling road when its running crap I reckon! Do any other G60 owners have this?

in gear performance would I suspect match a VR6 but cant imagine 0-60 off the lights would........all I seem to race is Scooby's that *iss all over me!

Can this be made louder in any way? Sounds kinda nice....

supercharged - think you r right,driving for a couple of days on 41/36 and it feels too hard,felt better at 30/28!

just tested the boost using the MFA (got the de-coding of mfa no's on vwvortex thread,2nd page technical g60)anyway read 1870 at approx.6000rpm third gear,seems to be roughly 13 psi which i think is pretty reasonable for my mods? Anyway thought id share as its the first time i have seen the de-coding list for the mfa!
