Ah ok! Holy sh*te - its been like it for a couple of weeks already! Looks like a job for tomorrow then.

I'm confused (sorry to hi-jack your thread mate!).... My matrix is obviously gone - I have instant steam if I put the heater control to anything but cold, and my windows mist up after a drive. I also have slight coolant loss, but hardly any. And no sign of any water in the footwells. Does this mean my matrix is 'on the way out' still and will probably flood the car at any time?

According to where I'm looking the Mk4 R32is 237and the Mk5 is 247 bhp. But hey ho.

Useless, yep, that about sums it up. Unfortunately the oil cooler is down in the wheel arch where the old intercooler was, so I was wanting to add a small fan, just for when it's stuck in traffic on the motorway, as I hate the way the temp just creeps up and up.... Exactly the same place as mine mate. It is a pain in the aerosol when trying to get across london at 8 in the morning!

R32 must be a bit heavier than I thought then mate. Take him out Andy!!! :)

R32 is 237 0r 247 bhp I think Andy, depending if its a Mk4 or a Mk5. My mate had a caddy with a nicely tuned 16v in it, 4 branch manifold, etc, etc. It went like a proper beast!! Very quick as they only weigh about 17 grammes ;) (bit heavy on the old steering though - unassisted and all)

I reckon power to weights are approximately.... Andy = 180 bhp per ton R32 man = 170 bhp per ton Roughly. Take him out Andy and get a vid for proof/future p*ss take!! :)

I reckon it would be close Andy! I'd say if you're now running around 220+ bhp then your power to weight ratio is slightly better than his. But he will have way better traction. Could be an interesting race mate! Anyone 'holding the book' yet? I'll take bets for sure!!! :)
