Go and have a look at the dipstick and oil cap right now mate - then you can look elsewhere if thats not it. Go... out ya go and have a look now! :) BTW does the 'smoke' hang around in the air and blow away, or disappear really quickly like magic?

So the front would be dry as a bone with no staining and the rear would be soaked? mate. That would take a bit more figuring out would it not? :)

Try the search dude..... vr6 AND rebuild etc Maybe the buyers guide also? But for starters..... smoke on over-run, oil useage, oiled-up plugs, etc

I reckon it depends on how low you've gone. I have 17 x 7.5 on the back and a fair drop and thats about as wide as I can go on my car. It does rub and slash the tyres a wee bit. And I have trimmed the offending bits of arch lip off already! Personally I think you'll struggle with a serious drop as well. Good luck :)

Surely all fuels are car-dependant too? So we'd need a test using Rado's to see which gains the most.

Aren't the arches flared rather than rolled? I thought rolling was folding back the edge lip back into the arch?

22mpg around TOWN for an auto vr6 would be pretty darn good to be honest. Most manuals won't do that round town. The autos are thirsty as fek!
