Sounds like mine. No fault codes. Terrible from cold and generally poor fuel consumption. I'm thinking lambda at the moment.

Excellent for ash tray useage if you're right handed mate :) Only takes a day or two to get used to it.

Ok, so which coilies are fully adjustable/best for the track

Holy spring rates Batman!!!!! Think that may be a bit excessive! See the problem is I do want to be able to rag it on B roads, so maybe the H&R clubsports would be a good compromise. -
Tart :)

Time is not really a problem mate. Going to take me a while to get all the bits together anyway. So your Gaz coilies were 800 and you specified the springs? -

So the H&R clubsports are sounding good, but can I specify spring rates or is that fixed? Can you choose springs? -
Lifting off the gas is head damage isn't it? Valve stem seals or something? I wouldn't buy a vr that was already smoking unless it was a good price. Recon had can be had for 400 + fitting though which isn't the end of the world. If its the bottom end forget it :)

Cheers The Wire! :) Good info. I've already sourced a half-cage. Am thinking of scaffold pole weldedacross rear as well. Quaife/pelo definately plus final drive. So what suspension are you talking mate? Gaz? -
Ordered a pressie for it - 6 branch stainless, milltek sport cat and full milltek system. Should sound quite tasty I reckon :)

Noise is fine mate - there's going to be no interior trim, carpets, etc! :) -

TBH Kev I just want decent adjustability (not too arsed about 2-way). I'm selling a few bits and bobs so maybe i can stretch to a grand. I just want some monster coilies that will go seriously stiff :) -
Its yours mate :) Haven't got a clue what its really worth though?
-
Ok mate. Million quid it is then :)

I was just wondering what a vr air-con system might be worth second hand. Complete system. Working and recently charged. Anyone any thoughts on value? And what about heated black leather in good nick with loom etc? 600? Or is that a bit much? Cheers :)

konigsports etc are only one-way adjustable mate. i'm after compression and rebound. and height obviously. the only ones i know are the kw v3's -
Hi Can someone remind me which coilies (vr fitment) are compression AND rebound adjustable? I thought avo's were, but it appears not? I want something serious for a bit of trackage. Ride comfort is not an issue. Budget max 800 really but hey ho, it's my rado so the sky's the bleedin limit I guess  Any thoughts on which coilies I should be getting. I'm going to be really stiffening up the C with ARB's, a half cage and braces/scaffold, but probably keeping 15 inch wheels for a bit of side wall relief - but basically I want to make it as stiff as possible. What about PSS9 and the clubsport H&R's???
-
Where's that? Is that a chain type thing? Sounds a bit chavvy - they don't boom do they?
-
Nah - don't want one of those pony standard ones matey. I want something shiny and fruity :)

Howdy Anyone know of anywhere that is likely to have vr6 exhausts in stock/on the shelf? Preferably Miltek unless something else as good is available. Cheers :) (or has anyone got a decent 2nd hand one they're selling?)
