The only reason you need for that is being alive mate!!! :) Get down there now! Hang on...... from Norwich to G-werks?????
-
Mate are you seriously worried about your gf's bro beating you in a car??? Just have a quiet word and explain that if he ever shows you up you'll hurt him :)
-
Small blade fuse just above all the others - not easily seen unless you get right in there???
-
Cheers dude

Hi When fitting a K&N 57i to a vr6 do i have to do anyhting about air feed? Or will it just take a feed from the general area if you see what i mean? Cheers Will

Found it. There are two rows of large fuses above the main row of small fuses. There is one on top on its own (a 53) and just to the side of that (or above) there is a further small fuse. Thats the fella :) So I changed the mirror switch and it worked. Now I've got the windows working and the mirrors don't work. Just a kinda relay noise, which I'm sure was mentioned in another thread somewhere. I'll just use that search AGAIN ']['H3R4POR!!!! ;)

Looks like it could be fuse no. 45 from looking at the wiring diagram. Anyone know which of the large seperate fuses above the main row could be no. 45??? Help :)
-
Right back at ya mate!!! Read my post!!!! Not which of the small fuses does the windows, mirrors, etc...... but which of the ADDITIONAL FUSES ABOVE does the windows??? :)
-
Hi Anyone know which one of the 'additional fuses' above the main row of fuses, does the leccy windows? They're not numbered or anything in the handbook. Cheers Will

I meant try "it", as in race a 323i agains a VR6. Blimey. Wrong side of bed yesterday fella? :)

Turn the stereo up mate :)

Unfortunately it seems to me that the various 40mm lowering kits for vr's all actually lower the car different amounts. Imo, most of the kits don't look low enough, although I did see one that looked a pretty good height - i think it was something cheap like apex though. Get some coilovers or get some springs and chop them off a bit (yeehaa) :) BTW mine is dropped around 60mm or so and i quite like the ride, but thats just me. I like the massively reduced suspension travel personally as i prefer it being a bit hard/harsh to it lurching up and down like a mo fo. You do get some fairly nasty bump-steer when it's really low/no suspension travel though! Horses for courses mate :)

Pics? EDIT: doh! pics tonight then eh? ;)

Buy a decent saw and chop your legs off - that should give you a slight power-to-weight advantage and leave you with enough change for a couple of bevvies. You may need to get a mate to drive though (no legs and drunk)
-
I may know nothing mechanics-wise, but I've got a fair old experience of many different cars mate :)
-
You're so presumptious Kevin! I have tried one mate. And 2 x 325's. All E46.
-
.........
-
Not exactly dog slow Kev, but I hear what you're saying. I can't agree that the front-driver has the traction advantage though.
-
Its an unknown quantity over here mate. You basically have the corrado with a golf engine, whereas over here the engine is specific to the corrado vr6 only. Sorry to say it, but it's better :) Hmmmm......... no roundabouts eh? There must be a corner somewhere in america? ;)
-
God thats scary eh mate? Unbelievable how heavy the steering is without assisstance!
-
Nice motor mate. Sounds like a seriously good price too :)
-
Personally I think he'd be struggling..... 170bhp in 1600kg against 174bhp in 1250kg??? Hmmm.... I guess he has the advantage of rear wheel drive traction, offset against your power-to-weight advantage. Just find some nice tight roundabouts and leave him for dead :) (like the good doctor above says)
-
You after a project then Darren? Tenner? Seriously........ dunno. If you're interested we can talk compadre :)
-
Oh no mate - I've spotted something much nicer :) (not that the silver one isn't nice - its fantastic and I have considered it). This other one's a gorgeous colour too. Don't really want to give too much away. One thing - I'm sure its got a wolfsburg badge on the back
