    lowering vr6?

Bit Maynard yeah! :) I think the problem is that by the time you've lowered it a decent amount the springs are just compressed to buggary at all times and don't have too much left in them. Mine is a bit low though i guess. I've been driving my blue one round with standard suspension :) Jesus! Smooth but a tad wafty shall we say :)

    lowering vr6?

Hmmm..... Weitec ride quality eh? I'd love to try some 1k coilies to compare to the weitecs. I like em but they are rather hard.
  3. I had a dude in worthing do my alignment and he is supposed to be the absolute nuts. He sets up plenty of track machinery I hear.
  4. Sorry Kev..... Could you just repeat that one more time for my compadre from Oxfrod! The rear alignment ......... be adjusted :) Oh my I'm laughing now
  5. :) Not even vaguely drunk. They don't have corners in america. Might have already had my combustible breakfast though ;)
  6. Aw man i forgot about this thread :) Quality. Someone mentioned corners again didn't they? There aren't any.
  7. Hang on kev, just reading your post again... I didn't mean the pipe was hitting on something. I meant if the engine's moving around cos of a broken mount, could that damage the downpipe due to the movement? And could the noise i'm hearing be the mount getting worse? I haven't got a clue - just trying to work it out mate :)
  8. I KNOW my downpipe is blowing mate - I can hear it and see a previous repair (bodge). It doesn't vibrate constantly though, so maybe something else?
  9. Does this sound logical to anyone?...... Engine mount goes Cracks the downpipe (which is blowing) Now its so bad i can hear it clunking Sounds relatively plausible doesn't it?
  10. Ooooh Engine mount eh? I reckon that could be it. It's not gonna drop out or anything is it? :)
  11. Come on....... what about the alpen advert matey??? :)
  12. Quality post. And he loves Shatner :)
  13. I think i was just getting confused. On my print out the rear readings change, but that is obviously as a result of the front being adjusted. PS. I left oxford cos it sucks :)

    Roof Painting

Anyone know how much it would cost to get a roof painted. Car not house. :) Cheers
  15. I'm sure he's right mate, not me :)
  16. The rears can be adjusted afaik mate. I'm almost 100% sure mine were? But then I do model myself on Homer, so that could be nonsense. I thought the rear was camber only???
  17. Ok so my vr has just started making this noise too :( It's just started. It first happened on braking. Seems to do it on full right lock at parking speeds too. Kind of like a knock but also a bit of metal on metal horrible grinding sound! WTF???
  18. I love mk2's as well. Black or bright blue. The shape (when lowered) just looks so chunky and right. Very practicle and cheap car too. Once I've narrowed rado ownership down to one good one, I'm gonna buy a mk2 daily hack.
  19. lol :) My black vr is pretty darn low and generally hates any road surface other than very smooth glass ;)
  20. Gotta be that fuse really as its taking out the windows and central locking? I'd try the small fuse next to the large one on its own at the top first. But if the window went down but not up again, doesn't that suggest that something else is blowing the fuse? Such as a short from an exposed wire as BeavisJem says above?
  21. Mate I'm only kidding. Nowt wrong with a visit to Darren. Except having to take your car down the driveway!!!!
