  1. Yeah - I know what you're saying mate. Might just have to bite the bullet and sell it for fek all :(
  2. Ok i've come to the decision to get rid of my vr. I really can't be a*sed with rebuilding the engine and sorting the other bits and pieces. So my question is this: Should I sell it with a fekked engine or break it? Its got loads of new bits on it: weitec coilies, water pump, thermostat, etc, etc. Black leather. Air-con. Black diamond discs. Bad bits: few small bits of rust - front arch, rear panel below no. plate, generally the paint is ok but is now covered in fine scratches from some sh*te carwash. (yeah yeah - I know). Got to be worth more to break it hasn't it? BTW, I'm no deserter - got my eye on a gorgeous vr ;)
  3. How many miles to the tank!!!! Put your foot down man.....
  4. unfortunately i can't control time, so i am forced to wait for the auction to end ;) (well actually i can control time, but i don't want to shock you too much)

  7. Thailand in rainy season. Now thats a storm......
  8. I think the only real problem is OBD1/2 differences mate. I think an OBD1 engine will pretty much drop straight in.
  9. i'm sorry i live where there are no storms and over half of corrado owners don't know storms exist and about 85% of corrado owners don't know a Jet ever existed... and the numbers that were confirmed previously are what i thought were correct but since i don't know for sure since i live half way across the world from where any storm was sold new it makes it hard for accurate info to make it here haha calm yaself mate. the info was already there in the thread :)
  10. well, talk about opening yourself up for abuse! :)
  11. Is that the crank speed sensor or something?
  12. are they really showing a pic of a supersprint manifold on an advert for raceland ones? cheeky fekers! :)
  13. i reckon you could work round the drain as well. its quite raised so you've got quite a few cm's to play with, and you can shape it down towards the drain cover anyway. its where the dropped kerbs have sunk around the drain. pull em up, bit of tarmac, put em back. sorted. i reckon you could feasibly go to the council and ask them to do it. they should be maintaining it. get a pic of someone's mashed front splitter and say you did it on your drive.
  14. be careful doing anything without permission mate - that belongs to highways as soon as you're past your gate. saying that, in my job i've dug up the highway/footpath a couple of times when its been necessary and i've forgotten to get a permit, and as long as you put it back neatly chances are no one will even notice :) i reckon you could get dodgy dave tarmac man down to reprofile that for 50 quid btw. 10 minute job. any caravan sites near you? ;)
  15. I reckon there was a certain aount of sarcasm in the owners reply? Irony? It will take 12 years to get back to where it was...... Its a joke! :) Lighten up guys!!!!!
  16. mine scrapes every time i pull out of the drive. i just have to ignore the noise. not quite as bad if i go out backwards.
  17. Nice looking clutch you got there Dutch :)
  18. Oh god I love the murcielago. Its such a beast. I would fookin love to drive one. It was black as well! :) Vader would definately drive a black lambo if he was around in our times :)
  19. Glad to hear it mate. Andy knows what he's doing eh? You should have seen the plug he removed from my VR yesterday! A tiny bit of oil deposit then! BTW....... monsieur :)
  20. Put some decent high octane fuel in it and go for a 'spirited drive' and see if that clears it.
