    The weight of the wheels compared to the speedlines will make fek all difference to acceleration mate. Handling yes, speed no. The rolling radius will make a tiny bit of difference but not a lot.

    How do they know the bores are glazed from looking at the plugs? Is it possible to be that accurate just by inspecting the plugs?

    It changes the overall gearing or somesuch. Something to do with the rolling radius being a bit bigger? I just kill the things, I don't understand them! :)

    A bit but not much. By 3% or something. And some people will tell you your car will now accelerate much slower, but I hardly notice the difference at all. You'll be amazed at the extra grip with low profile tyres and bigger wheels mate :)

    I was under the impression that the pics in autocar were pics not artists impressions? Could be wrong but I don't recall any mention of it not being the real thing. Just gonna see if I can find it.

    Have you seen the pics in autocar mate? I wasn't being that fair. Its ok. Nothing like a C but not bad. The 3.6 will go like sh*t off a shovel! :)

    Well if you look in this week's autocar you'll see the new scirocco. And I'm afraid its a bit more 'conservative' than that pic! Engine line-up as Andy665 said above. 3.6 would be nice :) Kinda like a Mk5 Golf with a roof-chop though. Yawn :(
