you sure? I´ve been told it´s quartz metallic, and its defo not black, at least not as black as some corrados ive seen
-
nice car... you should add a chrome vw bagde to the back of it though, I think it would go nicely with your wheels, and lighten up the back a bit. Also, I think a rieger grill would´ve suited the front end, and color coding the rear licence plate holder would make the rear end perfect. Oh, and the handles :D just some suggestions... I like the way it looks now though, I just thought I´d give ya some ideas :D

uhm... good question :D you got the skills to move it dontcha? :D thanks

a few days ago my heater started to make a crazy noise, like something was stuck in a duct, flapping like crazy. Suddently, the flapping noise slowed down, and in a few seconds, the fan stopped working all together on all levels (1 thru 4). What could be the problem, and how much are the parts to fix it? :D thanks (oh and sorry if this is a common topic, but I havent used the search for a long time, so I didnt find anything that described my problem :( )

thank you _leon_, I think I might replace it with a rado vr´d golf 3 a friend of mine just finished building, with a new paint job and some nice rims on it. But it aint no match for the beauty of this car. The reason I´m selling it is really cuz I cannot afford two cars, so this is my daily driver. And a corrado is, in my opinion, too worthy for such a title. It´s like a porsche, for special occasions only, so you can give it the care it deserves. Like it got today. Four hours a week should be a minimum :D and _leon_, it´s not really black, but dark gray :)

just gonna close my thread with some nice little pictures of my corrado, before I sell it. I firmly believe this is one of the most beautiful cars ever made in history, and it really breaks my heart to sell it.

bump... whats happening to this beast of yours? do you got some pictures of the car itself? :D

that alfa looks like something I would love to own.... and I have no idea what to say about what you´re doing with your corrado mate.... incredible just doesnt cover it! I seriously cant wait until I see the finished result (and I bet you cant neither)! Peace

That's 325.5 Nm for those of us who doesn't understand feet and pounds ;) incredible.

how are things going with the C these days? :)
-
ey, walesy remember me :D actually, my mechanic has one for sale, but then I'd have to sell mine, which will probably prove kinda difficult for decent money. :D
-
I would want to keep everything exterior as is (standard), so no bigger intercooler or anything fancy right away. I'd stay put with the stock ECU / management as well, as I don't really can't afford anything but the bare minimum as a full time student ;) So around the £3000 - 3500 mark for the 20vt then? Would that be a better choice than a vr6?

Hey! Been some time since I've been active on this forum, but now my car is back in the garage, so I need to get my mind going again ;) The G60 engine just tipped 240,000 km (150,000 miles), and although it works fine still, it has started to "drink" a wee bit of water, and has some minor oil leaks here and there. In other words, I'll need a new engine in a few months or so. Now, my mechanic turned out to be a vr6 transplant wiz, and says he'll get me an engine, gear box, suspension set up and all I need for a complete conversion, for around £3000-£3100 inc. labour and parts. Which is... well, over-comeable in Norwegian prices. What I was wondering was, what would a 20vt conversion cost me? I could get my car to the UK if needed. Oh, and what would be the better motor choice, a 2.8 vr6 or a 1.8 20vt? Peace, and thanks for all the advice :)

The pedal doesn't go all the way in, it feels like it won't move at all beyond a certain point. It's like the travel has been cut down to a third. It doesn't feel spongy, but I haven't changed the brake fluid since I got it a year ago, so that might be a bit old.
-
hehe, nah, I really have to STEP on it before it brakes at all.
-
when I'm pressing down the brake pedal, it feels like I can only press it like.. a few centimeters in, and I can't really brake very well. What could be wrong?

lately, my car has been holding around 110 deg celcius lately on the coolant, with normal driving. The coolant light has been flashing quite a bit lately as well, and even though it's a bit random, there IS quite a bit of coolant disappearing. What could be the different scenarios I could be facing?

You Know Your Rado's Really Feked When.........

when your engine cuts out, the battery suddently turns flat, engine doesn't start with jump wires, the rear wheels are locked up and you're only wearing a t-shirt when it's a f*cking blizzard outside. that was a bad day. -
I'm sorry to hear about your brother, jeffcabbage, my deepest condolences for you and your family.

Have a close look at the next Storm you see ;) That's true, although that's only two colors. I don't think it would look good on a red car, for example. Or a white car. Black cars would look great with bodycoloured grille. In my opinion, the original looks nicer with the original bumpers, while the rieger one looks great on rs (4) bumpers and so forth. But as gradeAfailure said, you can always buy one, and then another one later. Good luck whatever you decide on.

why am I not surprised at all? :D lol

gutted for you, mate. Have they caught the f*cker yet? -
nice. Remember, the more enviromental way to get rid of the oil fumes would be to vent them to an oil catch tank, with a small cotton filter attached to it. Good guide though. Use a few more words and make it a wiki :D
