My motor has begun to tick. Now, it's not really bad, like sierras, but it still sounds like my car is old and crappy, which is isn't! (well, at least not crappy) What does this sound mean? it's not even there all the time, it comes and goes. Any ideas?

made a custom dash board shell for our grad celebration bus (check it out at http://www.westwing06.com), and tried to trim it in beige leather-lookalike. Not too sure about the finish, but definitely not totally horrible. I was supposed to rewire my stereo and fit audioscape pods today, but I never got around to it ;)

looks like a neat little girl car. just add some cool 21 inch rims, big jap style front bumper and the mandatory APR rear spoiler to finish it off.

what about running 9x16 both front and back? would that cause any negative effects?

it could just catch on the fuse box panel (mine did once).

well, it kind of goes up to 0.1 or 0.3 liters per 100 km every once in a while. I think the back of the clocks is fine.

mine shows 0.0 l/100km.. what would that be caused by?

Hi, me and my pops really f*cked up my far side wing (LHD), and this made me think of what I could do to make the front look a bit cooler. Now, I've heard that the vr wings are a lot wider. By how much, really? Are they a straight swap for my '89 g60 wings? Does anybody got a comparion picture of these two types? And what should I expect paying for new versus second hand items? I've also thought about a wing vent, since I'm going to get the lot repainted no matter what. What designs could look good on a corrado? Any pictures? Thx for all help

I went to change my wheels with my dad today, and we had a little accident while doing so. We live in an apartment complex, and don't got a proper garage jack. I was just fiddling around with the wheels a bit, figuring out which goes where, when my dad started jacking up the car. He didn't jack it up on the correct spot though, but right under the front wing. After jacking for a while, it turned out the jack was too short for my stiff suspension (the rear wheel lifted off the ground while the front one was still on ground level, does all corrados do this?). Suddently, the jack or rather the point it was jacked up on, buckled, and the car fell down, jamming the jack somewhere up in the wheel well. The result was a big "dent" (that is, the lower part of the front wing is flared out), but the rest of the car seemed fine. I'm going to have it inspected sometime soon, to check it out further, but what could be worst case scenario? Could it have damaged the frame in any way? I'll get pictures ASAP By the way, I think the corrado looks very high compared to what it did before, on its 15s.

neat car. a friend of mine have the same car. Lovely interior, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Awesome mileage too, by the way! sub 100k cars are deffo getting rarer by the day these days.

I've heard nothing but good stuff about phoenix gold's stuff. Focal also make good equipment, and they're not that expensive. You really shouldn't skimp on your front speakers, since a few quid extra gives you a lot more sound quality for your money. If you're wiring it all up to your stereo (no ext. amplification), there might not be worth it spending hundreds on speakers though. Alpine got some good stuff, I've never heard JBLs.

this happened to me to, and it turned out to be the starter. Just so you know that could be a possibility.

It sure is. I only noticed it when I needed it to tow my car up on a trailer ;) Looks cool though, at least in my opinion. The paint looks good on the exterior, but inside the doors, sills and boot flap, there is so much over spray and dry spots (looks like lights spots he forgot to remove the tape from while painting) you wouldn't believe it. There are also a few pieces of tape that's stuck to the paint job, after being "painted in there"
