  1. no soul = doesn't stop on random or in bad weather ;) seriously though, a g60 is nice and all, but it's getting old. If a recon of an old high mileage engine and a swap to a newer, more powerful and lower mileage engine would cost the same, I would definitely go for the newer engine. I'm sure spare parts are easier to get and cheaper too.
  2. neat neat. Inspiring! I'm making mine a bit more practical and flat. :) Might steal your mirror idea, looks stunning!

    At last!!! leather

Wow, that was really different! Totally changes the look of the car, and the fact that it wasn't sewed the way the original leathers were, makes a difference to the other interiors I've seen. It definitely looks like a newer car than it did when it left the factory.
  4. Hi, I just changed my clutch, since I had to push the pedal all the way back for it to fully release. After changing it, I'm wondering if it could be the clutch master cylinder (if the corrado have one)? if it does, what does it do, can I fix it, and how much will it be?
  5. you can program it, you know ;)
  6. ah, gutted for you man. I hope things will be sorted out as quickly as possible. At least they're doing this free of (further) charge, right? Let's hope this is the last problem you'll encounter!
  7. I was planning on putting on the summer wheels, and then mr. winter decided on a mike jordan-style over time comeback with a nice snow storm. I'm getting my car back tomorrow, and I'll give it its spring cleaning soon. I got a ton of parts to put on it too, so I'll be busy. I can't wait for my car to be back on the road!
  8. Hi, I got a good and a bad news for me. The good thing is: I got ABS! I had no idea I did, because there is no ABS light in my interior, and I haven't ever noticed it or needed it for that sake. The bad news is: the abs ecu (?) needs replacing. Now, I'm wondering whether I should find myself a second hand one, or if I should sell my house and buy a new one? How much are they, anyways? My car's a g60. Also, I got a g60 ECU laying around, but I have no idea what it's worth... Any suggestions (and no conspiracies here ;) )? My car will be back tomorrow, and I can't wait! :D
  9. um... since october last year. and I hate my car's last owner(s). The guy I bought it from won't answer calls, texts or emails from me anymore, and he still has a ton of parts I'm supposed to pick up this summer.
  10. cool rims, but I am sceptical to put em on a corrado

    New Wheels

hehe definitely not OEM+, but then again, I am a norwegian gangster. soo.. say hello to my little friend!
  12. sorry, but I can't help feeling azevs and borbets look very old fashioned on corrados. A small lip (like... 1-3 inches) might be acceptable, but really deep dish wheels look too old-school euro style for me. It was cool 10 years ago, but I think it's dated now.

    New Wheels

haha that would be so awesome. :D how much were they?
  14. ah come on, you'll know so much more about your car if you do.
  15. did you accidentally put the return system back on?
  16. I would really like to have the time and resources to do such a thing, but an expensive corrado, which also happens to be my daily driver, is not a good starting point. Watching somebody work would be cool of course.
  17. hehe thanks... well this isn't even the corrado's fault, but dodgy owners, using crap connectors and skimping on pretty much everything (i.e. there are a ton of wires just cut straight off by the fuse box.
  18. I've had my car to a good mechanic the last few days, and the stuff he tells me about my car seriously scares me. Example, this time: The electrics of my car is in a complete mess. He swapped the fuse box because not only had its mountings broken off, but it was in the middle of a melt down as well. The fuel pump relay was MISSING (mind my car was in perfect running condition prior to this, it was just draining a lot of power quickly), and was probably wired to something else. This car is a electrical nightmare. LUCKILY, he's fixing it all for me now. It's idling quite roughly as well, and he's taking a look at that as well.
  19. nice to hear everything turned out okay for you, djmac56.
  20. hehe nice thanks a million, Junior Jackson!
  21. haha lefty loosy, righty tighty, hilarious, im gonna remember that. I always pretend to screw something into loose air before I untighten anything, now I can stop looking like a fool and start sounding like one! thx
