    Need Help Guys!

I have the original late spec grille, and I wouldn't switch it for anything. The car looks so more... classy... with it on, in my opinion. I'm not too sure how nice the grille would look bodycoloured, but I wouldn't do it on mine, just because I don't think it would look right. Besides, you can buy yourself a lot of mc'd foods for the money you save. Result :D
  2. ah stop whining, you got black leather electric recaros  I read somewhere the Corrado sill guard came around 91 and was abandoned sometime late 92. Or somewhere around those numbers, take and give a few years each side ;)
  3. no, sorry I don't. I'll take some pictures of it as soon as I get a hold of a camera. The paint hasn't cracked up or anything, though, and the finish is very good, even after 4 years.
  4. Mine are colour coded, and they look good, tbh. You can't have any racks on them though. I quite like the smoothed roof look, just check out A20LEE's vr. If my car was going to the body shop, I'd: - smooth the rear bumper - remove front number plate recess - colour code rear number plate recess, or remove, weld in plate in place, and relocate recess to rear bumper - remove rub strips - colour code door handles (passat ones look good) - colour code mirrors - remove / replace side indicators with new audi items. - smooth the rough part of the sills. - remove radio antenna hole (but then again, I never use the radio) Good luck with your respray, sounds like a good offer. See examples of their work first though.
  5. ah feck off will you? I got 6x9's in mine, and they do sound very decent. However, I'd rather make a custom shelf for them than cutting holes in an original shelf :) welcome to the forum, mate, look forward to the pleasures of corrado ownership.
  6. I'll bring your compliments forward :)
  7. hehe very proud indeed :) the single wiper wipes alright, so I'll leave it there for a while :) It's usually laying dead flat tho, so you don't notice it.
  8. Incredible car. I'll see if I can get a hold of PVW here in Norway. I can't believe your paint still is the original one :D
  9. great car, great initiative. With 600bhp, a perforated hood might be acceptable ;) What about driving around hood-less? :D
  10. tbh, i've never seen a corrado without the peeling vinyl :) Mine got it, too. I'll try something like a strong adhesive when I remember to do it :)

    G60 owners!

If you drill a few holes in the air box, under the air filter, and remove the "snorkel", the plastic ducting that silences the suction sound, you'll get a bit more hp (not a lot though) and a bit more sound :)
  12. I went to the national VW/Audi Club meet this last weekend, and I had the best of times :D A few friends of mine and me got up at 7.00 in the morning and drove the 150 kilometres up to Våler Racetrack, where the show was held. Here's a few pics. You can see the new mesh and new 50mm spoiler on a few of these :)
  13. Wow, thanks for all the nice responses! They sure look nice, but there are so many different options when it comes to wheels, it's no easy choice no matter how much info you get :D I guess, when it comes down to it, the choice would be between RCs, the more classic three-split RSs (I think that's what they're called anyways, the ones with a lot of spokes and details) or Porsche rims (all of them, really). Choices, oh choices. Very hard, especially when you can't afford new rims in the first place :D By the way, what width would I need to make 17s fit, and what tyre-dimensions? Again, thanks for all the help so far :)
  14. yesterday I brung my corrado to my first show ever, and got a lot of positive comments on it :)
  15. Hi, I've always loved the RC's, but I haven't seen a picture with them on the corrado (or I've forgot how it looked ;) ). Could anyone please post up a nice pic of their corrado with these rims? And what is the widest rim I could get away with? Thanks :)
  16. nice ride, A20LEE, but what's happening with your vr these days? cheers mate
  17. here I am :) one pic havin some summer fun, the second going all out on the XL clothing line :D
  18. hehe :D well, just so you know I haven't totally forgotten about my car, I'll give you a lil' update on what has been happening the last few hours ;) : Today I changed the oil and oil filter for valvoline high mileage 10w40 and the original oil filter item. My car doesn't tick anymore because of it, so that was worth while. I fitted a new 50mm spoiler, removed the crap alu mesh in the front bumper and fitted the original mesh. quick result :D

    *sob*

gutted for you, mate. :( best of luck. ever looked into pimping? :D
  20. gotta redefine mine actually :D Putting the new-style grill on the front, and a chrome vw badge on the back was both good for modernising the car's exterior.
  21. just get it done at a reasonable price. Your car's paint looks like it's in great condition otherwise, so a blend-in might not be neccessary. I guess you could remove the door and do some of the prep work yourself. It's not impossible :) That should save you at least a few quid, which you could use on food. ;) about the trolleys, why don't they just replace em all with models with brakes that kick in when you release the handle? The most expensive option, but the safest also.
  22. I think they are a must-have for every owner of angel eyes, especially those with white or dark cars. Matches the angel eyes much better than the standard items in my opinion. Nice to see a new product for the corrado, though, there are really not that many that come around anymore.
  23. they pay for insurance, fuel and repairs, and the car itself, tho, so I can't really NOT let them use it :-P I'm just keeping it looking good.
  24. well, there have been a long time since I've even posted on this forum, let alone on this thread. But there is a time for everything, and this seems to be it. Well since last time, I've done quite a bit. Today I have, anyways. After giving my car a thorough wash, I polished up my exhaust and engine bay. I fixed a small oil leak (from the breather, it leaked all over the motor compartment, making it a mess), and fitted a new oil hose between the breather and oil catch tank. I FINALLY fitted my audioscape door pods, and was well chuffed with the result. It was quite easy too, though it WAS a two-person job. Now, since my parents borrowed the car for a quick trip to the cabin, they made their mandatory damage to it. Now my passenger side rear rim is all scraped up and damaged, and there is missing a big piece of paint on the right rear wheel arch as well. Let's hope it won't be very expensive to fix. Talking about that trip, my dear parents didn't notice the bright red battery light shining at them for 100 miles, and was shocked when the car eventually stopped. Luckily it was a cheap fix, with new brushes, "brush cover" (whatever that is) and some new connectors and cables, it came in at only £38, including labour and being towed to the nearest garage. So anyways... I'm going to show my car off for the first time at a show on sunday in a week, and I'm looking forward to it a lot :D now I just gotta polish it (again), and clean it like it never has been cleaned selbekk out.
  25. perhaps it's just the season or something ;) sorry for not being on here at all lately, but being drunk seemed more important. I'm well tired of beer now though, so see ya around.
