I get a discount cause I've gone in so much! Only thing I said to get it was "wish you did a club card cause I'd be well in!". "We'll sort something out he said!"
-
Haven't gone through the summer and shorts scenario yet (rrrrripppp!), although my previous car had half leather. Should be interesting with that interior!

Every body shop I speak to says they wouldn't go near chips away or equvilant. All they doo is fill it with knife filler and touch it over. What they've said (now 3 bodyshops, all ins approved and one a mate) "It'll look good for a few weeks but then you'll be bringing it in here to get it done properly and it'll cost you more + the chips away cost! Don't bother and do it right from day one!"

how much fitted for that set up then? Give or take. Koni & H&R? -
My plan is to get the best standard VR6 around, not going for mods. (Well, apart from lights/wipers/mocal oil cooler that I've fitted). And get this, my long term project is for at least one day, have everything in the car working! Every button! On a VR with heated electric leather and aircon it shoud be quite a challenge!

Yes, the force is with me.

Front end nose job repsray coming in May, along with the rear being done too! Getting a new tailpipe fitted on sat as the standard exhaust on it is fine but the tailpipe is rusty.

93 K Reg VR6 - 103k miles - Aqua Pearl Blue Metallic. http://www.thecorrado.co.uk Full heated leather Recaro interior (even the drivers side seat works!). Aircon (getting fixed) Tilt only sunroof, faulty ABS (now fixed), you know, the usual Corrado refinements! REFURBED SPEEDLINES PICTURES:

£558 for new injectors! When I said are they gold plated he didn't think it was that funny!
-
£93 each from VW for new ones!
-
After much ringing around I found a local place that does sonic/flow testing etc. The whole works. £17.50+vat per injector (cleaned and flow tested). Seems pretty good to me! They're in shipley and called Power Line.

I went towards bradford, you went back towards bingley (from the roundabout). Think they were 2 of you in there? I've seen a black VR parked in Morrisons in Keighley quite a bit, must work there. I saw you from the B&Q roundabout but I got stuck behind an astra diesel! You didn't make it any easier by accelerating away! Had to nail it on the bypass to catch up! Thought about flashing but people will just think I'm weird! -

I was behind you from the 50mph part onwards. How dare you not notice me! :) -
Would it be less hassle (although more expensive) to get new ones? People have mentioned getting them calibrated, I assume that can be done to new ones if necessary, but is it necessary?

I assume a Koni setup would improve things. Could you have it at the same ride height or do they have to be fitted lower? One more ques, how much would a garage charge for changing the height from standard to 40mm lower, and then back again. Thinking of the daily use and then lower for summer. How many hours should I be charged? -
EDIT:Price below (4th post) Ok, thinking of getting my injectors cleaned and flow tested, trouble is, I have no idea on where to get this done? Do I take the car in or take them off (by a garage) and send them to be done? I'm nr Bradford in W Yorks so if anyone knows anywhere this can be done that would be great! Also, as I use my car every day, how long could I expect to be without it? Cheers.

Custom exhaust, get whatever you want then. About £350 for a cat back.

Dont forget the headlight loom and lupo wipers! Even a die hard non-modder would have to do them! -
Put an umbrella over the exhaust pipe! Welcome! :)

Can I assume the headlight rocker switch should light up? If so mine doesn't! Is there an LED inside the switch or do I have to replace the whole switch?
-
Yeah I knew that. Just testing.
