cheers aide thats exactly what it is the fan run on! if i struggle i will let you know seriously need to knuckle down and get everything done thou at least a week before e38 as need to run in charger! are you going mate? got that new power steering bracket to fit new rocker cover new inlet mani new throttle body and gonna get some stuff poilished and a few bits painted!

thats quality mate thanks how hard is it to get the allen bolts ones on the bottom of the inlet mani off! tonight i took off throttle body boost return, isv and various boost pipes off! in doing so i think i've broke the wire that runs the fan never mind all a learning curve! cheers for advice thou!

hi i took charger off yesterday was reasonably easy anyway i just started taking my inlet manifold and throttle body off is there anything i should watch out for thanks Andy it seems like quite a hard job do i need to take fuel rail and injectors out too? also guys is there any seals/gaskets/bolts that i should replace why im there!

Quick Update:31/08/06 hi all very busy weekend! put my mates 2ltr engine in his escort on firday night sat night and sunday then on sunday came back washed my new wheels and got the supercharger off ready to send to dazza! then tried to get my cd changer out lot harder than seems will re try tonight me thinks a carpet out job as tried to pull the cable and it didnt hardly move! must remember where i put it when i changed it from inside car to in the boot lol! then also very excited this week as im getting a few little perky bits from billinjah which i cant wait to get fitted one should add a bit better throttle respone too so all in all very happy bunny at mo! july was expensive month but im finally getting there will update with pics asap Thanks Andy Hopefully I will be able to get all I want done before E38!

cheers blue joe & mat b! see my elephant insurance at mo its £800ish quid no agreed value and ive declared wheels lights exhaust induction kit and chip! so its not that i particuarly want to change will just feel better if i get an agreed value!

zider apple if your engine mounts are fine the sump shouldnt really ever hit the floor mate! shrick do a sump for the vr i believe but thats mega expensive get engine mounts checked before looking at sump!also mate im changing my de cat for a straight thru pipes as ive battered my decat pipe getting in car parks and that!

hi all can anyone tell me what insurer is the one that lets you use any mods up to a certain bhp! brentacre springs to mind but im sure there is another good one or even if anyone else has a really good insurer i also wouldnt mind getting a agreed value! thanks andy p.s think stan 24v uses the insurers im thinking off

hi mate the engine could of easily dropped if your engine mount is fecked! also when lowered just on springs the car tend to be more bouncy so when travelling at speed the car is sat lower as on springs but is still bouncing about so sump will get quite close to floor if that makes any sense the vr boys will be along in a mo but im sure they will tell you the best suspension set up for the vr6 cheers andy
