    hi i had the same problem and diagnosed it my self it was the starter switch. took me a while to realise it but the switch was not supplying feed to ecu to dissy.changed switch[£15-20 from gsf] starts everytime.even thought it was immob so ripped it out it wasnt that. fit a switch anyway,only cheap and easy to fit.hop you sort it. brian

    i think that 215/40 on 16" give you a smaller diameter than standard,this means that this size tyre would be spinning slightly faster than standard size.at 70mph you would actually be doing about 69.?mph. hope this helps . anyway can i have some more feedback on what tyres to go for. cheers. brian.

    hi got some bbs 2 piece rims for mk3 can people give me some feedback on what tyres to buy looking to fit 205/45/16 size,was going to fit 215/40/16 but me thinks they would be a bit harsh.anyway should i get . toyo proxes t1-s , yokahamas A539 , goodyear f1s or is there any other good makes to consider. many thanks. brian.

    have already fitted new clip on the gearstick and changed the box oil to gl5 80/w90.but just find it hard to get 1st and 2nd.mainly when cold. also find the throw exesive,would adjustement improve this. brian.

    hi all ,i have an old front g60 mount spare and was wondering if it is possible to convert it into a solid mount ,im sure i read somewere that somone had done this mod,may involve some cutting and welding me thinks.or is it get a new solid mount,and weres best. anyone out there tried this with good effects. cheers. brian. :roll:

    hi my second gear is also poor ,and was wondering what is the thinnest oil for gearboxes ,is it worth using thin engine or p a s oil. cheers. brian.

    realy like to get a short shift poss b&m,had a short shifter on my mk1s and were adjustable 30-40% and were nice and reliable but from the responce the b&m shifters on the rado need to be spot on . the more good responce the better,and may tempt me to getting one,by the way anyone got one for sale. was thinking of converting the standard shifter,has anyone done this mod on the standard shifter,and how does it perform. cheers. brian. 8)

    hi all think my exhaust downpipe is cracked and was wondering is it poss to weld it up again or should i buy a new one .have already changed front mount and will be changing others soon ,just that the blowing is pi$$ing me off now. any advice would be nice. cheers. brian.

    o.k. so if you have a cat fitted what would you normally set the pot to (in resistance).i say this as did have cat removed . but now have the cat back on ,but may remove again in the future.or would it be poss to put up advised settings for both with and without cats as a bench mark. thanks. brian.

    nice one ,been toying with this for a while now but still have not yet done it ,its great to hear someone thats really imprest with this mod .now i now for sure that its worth doing.by the way what type cooler is it,golfg60 or darrens custom. cheers. brian.

    hi has anyone got one of these mounts fitted any if so does it create much vibrations,as my down pipe now seems to be leaking slightly and before i replace it i would like to stiffen the engine first.
