Grrrrr......... -
KW's all day long, super comfy ride that just feels nicely damped not hard and harsh the best yet by far! H & R / Koni always feel harder to me and the ride height doesn't sit quite as nice (a little high). Koni / PI harder again compared to the previous two but ride height about right.

Corrado modern classic, custom cars had their day?
CrazyDave replied to OSV's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah but it's a reversable mod ('scuse the pun) ...... it's only stick on and at the worst the car would need a bit of paint when it's removed, maybe only a good polish :) Yes but couldn't resist! I too have a large box of bits in my shed just in case I want to go back to standard. It's a very tongue in check joke, 'going back to standard' cos I can't ever see that happening and I seem to be letting a few bits wonder off to different parts of the country. The latest one being OSV now wears my old inlet manifold! I still can't quite bring myself to remove the orange indicators! They just seem right..... -

Picked up a 7 footer in the valver last year. Quite sad this year....... first ever plastic tree :( -
Very clean indeed (even after driving from Yorkshire!) and one of the finest we've ever seen and easily as good as that old black VR thing that comes down our way every now and again (couldn't resist it Kip!). Sorry I was a bit pre-occupied with other things........

I had a go in Fay's car today. At first I was a little bit worried that they would be too hard. They felt harder than my Koni/Pi setup, but on the move they are really supple, the damping is spot on, and I was attacking corners even faster than I would have in my own car. I think I might be buying some at some point. :) On my suspension test route, their is a stretch of dual carriageway with a fast left hander with a dip in the tarmac mid corner. My Koni / Pi and most others I've driven almost bounce from the inside lane to the outside when driving over. The KW's just soak it up without any drama at all... not found anything better yet 8)

Fay has just had KW V1 Inox fitted, a really good mix of ride comfort and handling improvement. Clicky The ride is firm over a standard car but the improvement in handling is way worth it. They are one of the smoothest riding coilover kits you can get, most are much too hard. Weitec GTN are also very very good but you can't get them as low as some people like (the rear damper only has fixed collar adjustment in steps), that said the lowest rear setting is perfect for UK roads and the best handling compromise anyway. The cost saving is obviously pretty good if your not worried about having stainless bodies, copper slip them up and you'll be able to move them in 12 months.

VR6 Storm Classic Green - back on the road

Looks tidy. The lupo wipers are very effective but don't stop there! Think that was my first mod too..... :) I tried to stop changing bits after fitting Lupo wipers.......honest  -
Controller arrived Mr Torque, thanks. Glad you sent it over the enclosure is a little bit smaller than the VR one so my board has to shrink to accommodate both. I've converted my VR fan controller to the new design and it's all working on the bench. 3 speeds, pump run on etc so it's time for a bit of live testing on the VR. I'll let you all know how it goes. Really weird listening to the fan when it's ramping to the different speeds, has a servo whistle to it that's kind of cool. Yeh I'm sad I know
