Or tell us who she is and we can all add her to our friends lists ;)

Give the AutopaintFX stuff a go looks pretty good and comes in rattle cans... Only problem is it could get additive and you'd end up with a Chrome Rado (like the GTO demo car!).... Now how much of a pain would that be to follow in the sun/at night?!

You'll have to trade the dogs in for Yorkies so they'll fit in the boot!

Repair sunroof, problem half way through........now with pic

But they do mean you can flick your fag out without fear of it coming back in the car! And if you get it just right with car speed/flick strength/wid direction.. you can land the smoking butt in the lap of the nonce in the Merc/Pug/etc CC thingy behind you who's been looking so smug sat on your bumper for the last 5 miles... ;) -
Nope should have one/ two screws holding them to the hub.. but main force is via wheel bolts running through discs and hubs... Often screws are snapped come disc change time though.... One of my fronts has the same problem wich makes changing wheels a Royal PITA chasing the disc with a wheel bolt...

Wow... yep that'll be a flat tyre for sure! By looks of it those leauges are 1-piece? If so see if there's a wheel refurber nearby as they might be able to alloy weld it up... but TBH once you've spent on that and teh refurb you maybe able to pick up a tidy set of standards for teh same.... Not sure about the fuse board.. doesn't look to me like anything missing.. but maybe?

Just to help as it's an archived thred... Any-one tried the 5w halogens yet? Apart from super-bright gauges wouldn't they run too hot and risk meltdown/ Dash Fire?
-
http://www.autopaintfx.com/main.aspx Hmm 98% reflective Chrome paint? Could this be the answer we've been looking for with the issue of Yellowed reflectors? Also check out the Xposures paint... possibly a great way of stopping people leaning on your car? Imagine their faces when they take their hand away and leave a complete print!

You still need a photo up there though! ;)
-
Guys, we need to know who you are... bung up your Corrado Forum Alter egos on teh wall please... otherwise we'll not add you to our "friends" lists!

Hey Mark, really bad luck! Do you think the blow out was caused by the shoddy inital fitting? (Stick up the name of the garage so we can avoid them). Looking forward to seeintg these in the metal as photos don't seem to do them justice (from the thred I read about them on Ed38!) Glad to see you managed to get everything sorted, was going to try and make it up Sunday but Sat was a mad one and just needed to chill... Did you get anymore photos of teh rest of the show or was there just you in a field? ;)

Mis-spelling of Verein.. German for association ;) Or judging by the length of time coming soon means a mis-spelling of forever?

Am wierdly liking these wheels after I saw a Works yesterday..

Added Angela.. now get some stuff up! ;)

If it's a Chavvy motor then its sole purpose is to sound like a toilet flushing! Something to do with recirculating gases and spool up speeds.. but I guess "Sir Cheesy-of the-turbo" will be along soon to full explain in fine technical detail! Or Like Jim says...
-
Anyone know if Mini Rims will fit? I know they're 4x100 but can't seem to find info on offsets... Have noticed some nice BBS styled rims on Mini's recently..

So Rob, jobs for tomorrow are drop it again and sling the super-wides back on? (This time maybe not quite so low that it rips up your sidewalls! )

Porker 924?? Unloved Child of Porsche/VAG
vwdeviant replied to vwdeviant's topic in General Car Chat
Because unlike you I'm not keen on "sensible" cars! Plus I always promised myself a Porker.... and this seems the cheapest way in... although it'll probably spark a need for a 944 afterwards... Thinking about the next bonus (whenever that happens) could pick up a 1/2 decent late 924S then... Rodders, with the post 85 S is there anything I really need to look out (over and above the usual car stuff) for that's a deal-breaker? Specific rust traps/expensive to replace bits/Transaxle issues? Also is it easy to "uptune" the early S engine to the same level as the 944? Handling? I guess it's pretty good, but is it easy to uprate too? -
_leon_ You need this then:  Neil, love the stereo install leaving just enough room for a packet of fags!
-
Hmm.. been thinking about another "Unloved model" addition to the fleet... Poor mans Porsche.. 924... Anyone owned one or got first/second-hand advice for me? Which Model? What spec? What to look out for? And yes I know it's got an Audi engine...

your website appears to be down?

Ah yeah Remember this from when I lost headlights fuse blew so "Cannibalised" teh no plate light (figuring it's late at night and on the M25 so mostly lit... NOPE! Dash went out as well! Fecckers! IIRC something else didn't work too... So had to swop for another fuse.. Now I wonder if I ever replaced that one.. Must go look...

grimmy's red vr - been busy with lots of mdf page5
vwdeviant replied to grimmy's topic in Members Gallery
What paint did you use? Thinking of Self-furbing the Estos until I can afford to get them done properly. But not sure if Satin Black would suit a Pearl Ghey car..... Maybe too dark on dark? -
Didn't he .... to paraphrase Elvis... Leave the building... He was on Ed38 at the start of this month, but saying he'd had enough of VW's and was going over to bikes...

Buying it? (Sorry scarlett couldn't resist!)
