Zak, paint looked soo fresh Saturday in the sun!

APAC can read some Euro fonts but gets confused with hypens, breaks in letters/numbers (9&0 for example), and "Stadt" logos... Like Dude I've been running full on style D-plates for 2 years in E-london, no hassle(d-band/german spaced/stadts/german dealer surround)... not because they are "kwel" or I'm a rebel, I simply went through 2 smashed front plates in the station carpark in 3 weeks! :bad-words: However will be getting UK pressed ones done now I'm in Buckinghamshire, and the local station's round the corner from the house! Really a case of you run them you know they're not legal you pay up...

Or the fact that the wax had worn with turbulance... ? When Using Colinite need to leave it overnight between coats to allow the first to "go off" and harden properly as well
-
Possibly where you're going wrong!
-
Yu can't even get Kev to sit on the intake pulling some string to drive it! Pesky Modern Technology! :bad-words: www.jenvey.co.uk next?
-
Rob, was the TPS Can-bus one of the repairs Vince had to make to the Harness? But if the Ecu/Pedal works on the conversion then It's down to the Harness! Issues with wiring that's been Frazzled, can all look ok and test Ok but then just break... my vote's on get a new harness!

Very good advice that! Wax does not give the shine...it does add a little to it but it's mostly for prtection, the shine well, it's down to prep work... Wash/clay/wash/polish/seal/wax etc... Sealers on their own will only last a couple months, they tend to get broken down by UV, which is why it's advisable to add a layer or two of wax over the top... And as no one's mentioned if it's a Tornado (pink) Red car.. that opens a whole new canf worms up!
-
Alan, my vote goes with the Colinite 915.. been using for just over a year, very durable wax, I've read reports of over 6 months and still beading... mine's currently 2 months since last application and still going Strong... Bear in mind I recenly moved from within 1/4 mile of City Airport in Lodon so it's having to deal with a LOT of air-bourne pollutants (kerosene mostly), and always come back good and shiney! It also dealt with last winter's cold snap really impressivly, no loss of beading or shine even after a week of being frozen. Buy from Alex at Elite... http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/collinite ... p?cPath=67 Oh and as it's a "Hard Wax" the tub lasts ages (mines not even 1/4 gone yet!)

These would be better!

Remember "Ferrari-gate" that eventually saw Alonso out of a McLaren contract, and onto Renault? Will we now have "Renault-gate"? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 229787.stm Odd that just as he wants to jump ship again that his team are being investigated... again! I for one would happily tie Alonso to the back of a safety car when Grojean's out on track if this is his doing again! God know what Flav will do to him?
-
latest rumour is that Fizzy's off to Ferrari for rest of season as "what-his-face-still-not-on-google" is being retired again! There will have to be a massive compensation package to F-India for that surely! :cuckoo:
-
He's a "newbie" here... VWJIM... excellent communication, service, on time delivery and great packing! No hesitation in recommending him! :salute:
-
Sounds like you need stock Late VR 4xe4 suspension then!
-
^^^^^   As Toymotor are shutting production lines and have backed out the 2010 GP I think the F1 team will be axed too! So that's 2down and 3 in... so far... Vettel will stay put, he's just signed a new contract! (immaculate timing? :confused4: ) I wonder if Flavio will go for a "Galactico" team next year?? or just a good driver and an unproven hotshoe... he has a list of them that he manages waiting! Actually he manages about 1/2 the F1 grid doesn't he?
-
ORLY??? :confused4: And the Dash?? :?

The Boss had a set of those put on my Contour (US version of the Mundaino) after he dragged 2 wheels down a rockery backing out a drive post BBQ :gag: ... They were actually Guarenteed for 30,000 miles! Needles to say they were hard as fook, and the car would spin up in 3rd in the damp (yes I had a US car a with Stick-shift! ) and boy did it drift on long corners, like say the on-off ramps of the Freeways... I've actually entered the I-400 with 4-wheel drift and a butthole the size of a micron! They sucked, in fact they sucked so hard...even the donkey was crosseyed! Hateful dangerous tyres...

Yup, normal... HG fail can sometimes be spotted by white Mayo on the oil cap.. except mine showed no classic HG fail signs before going... just blew a hose off on the water pump at speed on the M11
-
DON'T be a cheapskate and get an e-bay either.. you'll regret it... I have one of those still in the bag... I basically opened it looked at it and decided I didn't want the car to be visited by the London Fire Brigade first time i switched on the headlights! Pure skinny-wired, badly crimped, Donkey-poo! :bad-words: Kirby's are good decent thick wiring, soldering, and properly done Relays...

I just spat a triple Vanilla Latte ( :camp: ) everywhere! Weitec are basically "dumbed down" KWV-1's (essentail difference is no stainless body) so Yeah a set of chep £200 coilies are going to compere with £500+ ones Just like the Reliant Robin compered with the Rolls Silver Shadow ! :epicfail: You get what you pay for and at £50/unit/corner, that's not a lot! As to height, I'd go no lower than keeping the a-arms level, problems with being super-low, apart from ripping stuff off, will also be that all your other suspension components will be working at the maximum end of their designed travel all the time! So you can expect Bushings etc to fail quicker too. Hot-tuning are notoriously bouncy too, a problem if you're female and *cough* well endowed...
-
So what was it? Gota love Darren's service! Edit: Think about swapping the cone fro a stock filter & box, will give a lot more life to the Charger too!
-
Quick one Kev, have you run conti-sport-1's? If so was there a lot of difference between those and 2/3's??
