Awesome! Almost fell off the couch there!

Looked like a moonlight blue VR6 with half clear rear lights. Was going for it down the strip.

I'm going to clay my Passat on Saturday for the first time. I might even throuw some HD wax on there too. Wish me luck, it's probably going to be a nightmare!

biggrim replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in General Car Chat
I got 44 mpg from my G60 once! Was driving Miss Daisy at the time though. -
Strange Request......4x100 wheel spacer Engineering Drawing
biggrim replied to rado-steve's topic in General Car Chat
Did Henny not get some spacers made up by someone? Might be worth dropping him a PM to see if he had any plans/sketches for it. -
Have you seen a man eat his own head?

I missed it tonight!!! Was it the first in the series? When is it repeated? Sounds like it was a good 'un.

please help! emergancy! windows wont go up! noob alert
biggrim replied to niallraddo's topic in Interior
The fuse for the windows is on top of the fuse box and they look a bit different to the others. I had my G60 do this to me once when it was raining. Nightmare. Hope this helps mate. -
QUIZ, Name the film from the car (more on Page 2 and 3)
biggrim replied to ZippyVR6's topic in General Car Chat
33 - Gone in 60 Seconds?? The car the cop drives when he's chasing Memphis in Elanor? Edit: Oops - Just noticed that somebody else got in there before me. -
Another vote here for the BMW matey. Like millerman above, I've (my wife really) has a 1 series M sport diesel and it's a fantastic car to drive. Excellent build quality and looks awesome (IMHO). Tempted myself to sell the passat and get a 330d touring.

The black plastic centres just push over and anyone can remove them but in nearly 4 years of ownership I never had any stolen or lost. Don't know about the silver sentre caps though matey. HTH Grim

I like them too matey. I ran a set on my black G60 for 3 years and a lot of people liked them more seeing them on the car after being a bit iffy about them when they got told about them.

What can I use a pair of alloys for that nobody wants?
biggrim replied to was8v's topic in General Car Chat
A nice pair of matching coffee tables if you get some tempered glass for the tops of them?? -
TBH I'm not sure Mr Wire. I would have thought a cheap copy would have been more schitt than the OEM wheel though? I'm not sure I'd trust a weld matey. Might have to buy a cheap 2nd hand rim.

Hey people. I've just discovered that I've managed to crack one of my 18" RS6 wheels on the passat. It's on the inside edge of the front wheel and I've no idea how I did it. The question is can it be repaired or am i looking at a new rim? I'll try to get a pic up tonight so you can have a look. Cheers, Grim

I know how much Kev likes his lightweight wheels and reducing unsprung mass so thought he might like these! Perhaps a bit ott and £££££ but very light. Check it out http://www.bornrich.org/entry/the-ideal ... nsive-car/

I see a lot of people talking about traffic film remover and they spray it onto the car before washing it. Where can I get some of this as my wife's new white 1 series is covered in bugs etc and I reckon this stuff would help. Plus, we got a BMW care kit with the car that's got shampoo leather cleaner etc in it and it also has a paint sealant much like the autoglym topcoat sealant. Can I apply this after drying the car or should I polish it first (bearing in mind that the car is 2 weeks old)?

BMW 1-Series Coupe - What does everyone think ?
biggrim replied to BigTartanJudge's topic in General Car Chat
Wife almost bought one as we both really like them. Opted instead for a 3 door 1 series in white. 118d M-sport. Tis very nice indeed. £35 to tax it for the year???? Yes please! -
they might be deliberately keeping the power lower than the other R's so to not step on their toes. just a thought. could be utter buttmud though.

Looking good matey! Steelies FTW!!!

Here ya go matey!

Woolfrace voodos?
-
One of my mates has just bought one (although I think it's the 340bhp one) and it's soooo quick. The thing is that when driving it normally it behaves like a normal car and it very smooth and quiet. Put the boot down and it becomes a totally different animal! And the noise! Awesome, particularly with the roof down. Not had a go yet and I very much doubt I will :(

Nothelle, Rothelle, potato, tomato, Badger!!! I was 95% right. Well nearly anyway. That's the one I was talking about. Doesn't suit the lines of the Corrado at all IMHO.

didn't the rothelle corrado have round headlights in a golf stylee?
