  1. what spec is your G60? My spec is: Jabba stage 4, chip and 68mm pulley put down 182bhp. Happy enough but you know how it is...you always want more  Hope the car is ok mate and doesn't cost you too much to put straight.
  2. Dick Dastardly, no probs mate, it were proper bo! Was a great day and well organised so big thanks to Roddy for that. Happy with my 182bhp from the G60 but hungry for more. Convoy was great fun... loved the look on the face of the integra's passenger as it passed 7 of us on the way there 8) and the sweet little lotus. Big up to the daddy too, 245bhp, i wish i had that sort of power. Can't wait till the next one  Grim
  3. Either or mate, not decided if I'll be getting a breakfast yet. I do prefer the sausage and egg mcmuffin but I'm sure I could cope without one and just buy a few hash browns. hmmmmmmmm. Sounds ideal though if we leave the showcase just after 8:30.
  4. For those of us meeting at the showcase cinema at 8:30, do you think we'd be better leaving at 8:30 or is meeting at 8:30 ok? Plus, are we actually going to meet in the carpark for the cinema cause it's bloody huge!!!! We might end up having one group of us at the front and the others at the back. Let's say the bit of the carpark at the front entrance to the cinema (the bit on the slight hill)?
  5. Got my rear discs, pads and wheel bearings replaced at Star today. While it was in I got them to check the geometry and it needed sorting so all in my trip cost me £197. Got my cheeky discount so that got me money off my labour but the prices are the best in the land and is worth the trip.
  6. Just had my geometry set, rear discs, pads and wheel bearings done at Star Performance in Glenrothes and thought I'd post up about the excellent service and quality of workmanship up there. It's about an hours drive from where I live in Glasgow but the difference in price compared to the competition is amazing and was what tempted me to book my car in there. Jim Curley was really helpful and and answered any questions I had regarding the work being done and the rest of the staff there were friendly too. I would recommend Star Performance to anyone on here who wants a great job done at a fantastic price and can assure you that the distance you travel will be worth it. Cheers for listening folks, Grim
  7. So, what is happening then? Are we meeting up at the showcase then before the bridge for a photo shoot style thing then going off in one big convoy? Just wanna know if 8.30 at the showcase is early enough for that plan and as we all know, "I love it when a plan comes together!". Let me know guys as time is drawing near 8)
  8. I no longer have a rear wiper cause it never gets used. Looks much neater at the back now.
  9. I've registered but kinda forgot my login and password  I'll just have to register again mate. Cheers for the info, Grim
  10. What gains would you expect from fitting one with a smaller pulley? Would it be a better set-up than the upgraded G-ladder or am i best sticking wiith what was intended for the G60? Thinking about the not too distant future if my charger decides to take early retirement (hopefully the distant future but you know what i mean). Cheers for the quick reply Darren
  11. What (if any) modifications can be carried out to the Eaton Chargers? You know, like a stage 4 equivilant or something, plus are there any advantages of stock over stock? Just curious cause when I was looking to buy my G60 nearly 2 years ago, I was tempted to go for one with the Eaton charger (no worries about detonation apparently) but was unsure if it had to stay standard or if it could be modded to increase the flow and efficency. Cheers, Grim
  12. Hmmmm, I wonder what chips that might be? :) I need to get me an SNS upgrade to fully exploit the potential of my stage 4 chip (J@&&@) and 68mm pulley. Skint the noo though, bollox!
  13. What is the quality and size of the keyring? I'm tempted to buy one myself but just wondered what it was like up close. You got any better pics? Never actually bought anything from e-bay letalone french e-bay! Bu&&ered if I know :? If you could tell me more about it mate i'd appreciate it. Cheers, Girm
  14. Anyone else for the motorway? Not sure how to get there but JohnJ is meeting some of the Edinburgh owners just before the bridge for a meet and photo oppertunity. Anyone care to make a decision? I hate making decisions
  15. you that desperate for IT Brian lol sorry, couldn't resist mate no offence, just sounded well dodgy
  16. I had a big grin on my face the whole time it was on
  17. Cool, have a good holiday mate. Let me know when you get back and I'll sort out some pics for you. 8)
  18. I think Hustler is refering to the one on the front of the car in the pictures in which case it's in my garage. The original 90mm front spoiler has bee fitted to the back of the car (see pics). The one on the back will be coming off when I can afford a new exhaust.
  19. I'll have a look at mine tomorrow mate. My car has had the late spec interior fitted and not sure how it's been done but everything works (although down is up etc on the mirrors but how often do you adjust them?) HTH
  20. If you want, I can take a few measurements from mine if I can get it out enough. oo-err missus
  21. Bally, Yip they all work. I've taken the oil temp and voltage out cause I wanted to put my heater vents back in. Boost gauge now lives in centre console next to oil pressure (which is no longer connected up (long story)). Sanj, Going to change all the trim bits and dash to black when I can afford it and track the bits down. Might fit a late spec dash if my heated seats work properly. Do you want me to take a photograph of how the rear arm-rest is fixed into position? Can do that for you asap and put it on for you. Let me know. Cheers for your replies mates
  22. As above, Good stuff Darren/all at G-werks. Just the kind of publicity that you want, keep up the good work 8)

Cheers mate, the original front 90mm splitter had been fixed to the underside of the back bumper so is unrescuable. Am gonna get the 50mm one once i get some money together since the car is 40mm lower than it should be  Can't wait till the summer and thanks again for the comments mate :D
