  1. The bearings in the centre are different to normal?
  2. You think that's weird? Mine and Furki's Black 92 G60's have the same number plate except 1 number  But it is strange that they are exactly the same apart from the ride height (and cleanliness  )
  3. Spotted 3 on my trip to Edinburgh. Red one going the otherway on the Motorway (M8) didn't get a good look at it. Green 1.8 16v (K-plate) on Bowhill Terrace? at 12:30 today followed by a Red one parked outside a church on the same road. Any takers?
  4. I also hear that if you don't clean the mounting surface at a disc change it can cause the same effect as a warped disc as the disc will not be 100% flush with the mounting surface. When I bought my G60 it had a similar feel to the way you describe and it turned out to be my Greenstuff pads retaining heat and sticking to the disc when stopped at lights and leaving debris on the disc. £200 later and everything was sorted 8) HTH
  5. Picked these up today 8)
  6. If you check the servicing and suppliers bit it'll be under recommended garages in scotland. Don't have it to hand though.
  7. Jim at Star Performance had a G60 engine and gearbox a while back. Most likely gone but worth a try.

  9. Or you could try euro car parts for them in any colour you like so long as it's black. Just ordered a set this morning for £25 + VAT and I'm picking them up from my local ECP branch tomorrow. Hope this helps 8)

    Carpet

Right, I'm kind of on the look out for black carpet to replace the grey one in my black 92 G60 but I have no idea what price I should expect to pay. There might be some in a scrappy but just want an idea before my contact goes there and pays over the odds. Whats the going rate for complete interior carpet (black or grey) excluding the boot, do any of you guys know? Or does anyone have some for sale in black? Cheers guys and girls, Grim
  11. I think John J on here has them fitted to his tasty silver VR (for show use only) so he might be the person to send a PM to. HTH 8)

    Fixing paintwork

In the region of £1k but it depends on how the car is. You'd need to take it down and let him see it. I take it you are talking about a outer shell respray and not a rolling shell one?

    Fixing paintwork

Alright matey, whereabouts in Glasgow you at and what colour is your C? I'm in Cambuslang and just had a bit of work done to mine at a place called DJM in Cambuslang. The number is 0141-641-2224 and ask to speak to Donny, he owns the place. Tell him the guy with the black G60 gave you his number. Don't know if he'll remember me but he gave me a good price so give it a try. Was well happy with the job done.

    Road Tax...

It used to be 25 years old but apparently it only covers car registered before 1975 now. I'm not 100% certain on this but worth checking out, cause eventually, everyone will get free tax, can you see the government being happy with that???
