I always thought Porsche nicked the idea from VW???

I think it's £8.99 for a 300ml spray can (might be £9.99 though). It's weird mixing those paints up btw. I was doing one for a white car and there was black, orange, yellow, red and white in it!!!! It's mad.

I thought Jammers were illegal to use in this country :?:

Think that guy was at the Bathgate show a few years back, really tidy and clean car IIRC.

Yeah, was heading back from Karen's mum's flat and was behind us on the dual carriage way leading up to the Barnton hotel. Came the same way to hit the motorway and he cruised past as we went down the slip road. It was sooooo nice. First time I'd seen one in the flesh too :-P 8)

Spotted a N reg VR6 on my way home from Edinburgh this morning. Was blue with a dude wearing a flat cap driving it. I got a pic of it on my phone as we overtook it (girlfriend was driving the punto) but it's poor. Also spotted a black Lambo countach this morning too. Made a lovely noise when it dorve past 8)

The later stalks do fit but I'm not sure exactly how. It's a mod that was done to my car by the previous owner so I couldn't tell you if it was easy or not. Some other people have done this mod on here so I'm sure they will help you out mate.

It's a 2 for 1 on all turtle wax products at the moment. Depends on how dirty the interior is really. I've used interior foam spray to do the headlining and the drivers side carpet and the headlining is HARD WORK!!!! Tried the usual suspects to clean the leather and thought I was making progress till a guy in my work had a look at it. His dad has an interior cleaning company and he said "your leather is boggin' mate"! Gutted I was after that. BUt was happy again when he said he'd clean my leather and carpets for £15 8) Gonna wait till after my finals and get it done by him at his bargain price. So my point is (eventually), if it's really bad, get it done professionally then keep on top of it, if it's just a bit grubby, give it a bash yourself. HTH

Mine got done a couple of months ago (the first time in my ownreship) and all it needed was a bit of headlight adjustment. :-P Which is nice

I spotted one on a VW Carvelle (spelling?) was the silver TD with a blue "I". Depends on the colour of your car and if you want to keep it VAG parts
-
But it's French!!!! (just that I've had a couple of bad experiences with french cars. not actually driven, but driven into or been driven into. No offence to any french car owning peeps)

the connectors are completely different on the door cards for the windows, mirrors and speakers. They will fit but unless you have a late spec wiring loom, expect to get the crimpers out and sort it. It wasn't me who fitted the Storm interior to my G60 so I can't say how easy it is mate but have a bash if you are feeling brave. personallyy, I'd keep the VR

Do you know how many miles it had done at all? Just cause mine was done by Jabba and not due a rebuild till about 120k (currently just under 95k). Just incase I need to put myself out on the street to save up asap

I'm guessing MEGA torque. Could be completly wrong though. In fact, most likely completley wrong but who cares eh?

I'd need a big bus to put all my ideal companions into. Such a hard question to answer 8) :-P

Cool. How is it on the motorway? Mine is a bit loud on the M/way and gets tiring on the ears. Looking for something that has a nice rumble at tickover, a bit meaty when plodding and as bit meatier when giving it some. Do I want too much? Perhaps, I am quite greedy :-P

How is the Magnex for sound Jim? Need to get rid of the pea-shooter and it's a toss up between the milltec and the Magnex small oval. Wouldn't mind tose figs btw 8)

Nice work Henny!!! Liking the polished VW badge  Was thinking of doing the same thing to my engine bay to tidy it up a bit.
