What would be a reasonable price to get from my mate for my seats and his interior?
-
I'd already arranged to swap interiors with a mate (cash coming my way also. Price tbc)) but was wondering if it'd be easier to advertise as "standardish". Ideally I want to sell it asap. Cheers for the positive input so far people.

Apparently Adrian Flux and H.I.C. are sister companies and won't quote you if you are insured with the other. I was told this when trying to get quotes from Flux last week (my current insurer is H.I.C.). I've been using H.I.C., Adrian Flux, Chris Knott etc for years with no problems. I've enver had to claim though so probably not the best person for advice on that front. HTH

The answer to this might seem a tad obvious but I thought I'd get the opinion of my fellow forum-goers anyway. I'm going to be selling the Rado and was wondering if it would sell quicker with the late beige leather seats and doorcards and Momo Steering wheel or with standard cloth seats and standard wheel? Just wondering if selling a mostly blank canvas would benefit in the selling process? Cheers, Grim

How many of us have near original spec Corrados?
biggrim replied to Bojmobile's topic in General Car Chat
Mine is pretty much standard too. Lowered a bit, de-locked handles, badgless grille, half tint rear lights, ah. Not that standard after all. I do have steelies on mine though. -
Is it this you're looking for matey?

Just got the TOM TOM 1 for my fiance. UK maps only! £200 from halfords. It's cheaper on the halfords website by a few quid. Tis a nice compact piece of kit.

Saw something I never thought I'd see today...ZERO miles G60

To get the best camera angles for the photos of the cars of course!!! -
My old MKII Golf GTi was resprayed in this colour. Tis indeed awesome.

On the fuse box, it's second or third relay on the top row. If you unplug it, the car will not start. When you plug it in, it should start ok. Mine was a bit ropey at one point and I had no end of trouble figuring out what it was. I'll jump up and down like a loon if I see you mate.
-
Have you checked the ecu relay fuse at all? That can sometimes cause some problems. I'll keep my eyes open for the rado when I'm in sydney over the next few weeks.
-
Rope is there to stop the car sliding back or off the edge and killing the driver.
-
I think you can use either matey. Not 100% sure though. The 90 is for VR's and the 65 for the G's IIRC.

How many forum members plan on NEVER selling their Corrado?
biggrim replied to godskitchen's topic in General Car Chat
When I got mine in 2003 I vowed never to get rid of it..... ever. Now I've almost owned it 4 years and I'm using it more than it was bought for since I started my job. Get my out and about mileage paid for but going to and from work in rush hour is a P.I.T.A. So not me any more. Getting sold soon. :( -
I filled up with Shell V-power yesterday at 96.9p/litre!!! I almost fell over. Needless to say i filled the neck right the way up as it's the cheapest it's been in months.
-
I was out in my mates Westfield at the weekend and that was insane. Only 320bhp/ton though IIRC (could be wrong). Much quicker than his old Chimera to 60 and 100. Not as big top end though.

Just soptted this guys http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIAL/c ... 32577.html A nice little piece on the trader website about our beloved rado's
