Hi mate you still have the rear haldex/syncro beam?
-
Carbon build up is a common prob, best thing according to Audi is too give the car a good thrashing every now and then :)
-
Cheers all, definitely getting the itch to start making radical mods again....mate of mine has dared me to put a TTRS and stronic box in. Lol

Still around...pics to prove lol! After a patch of bad health....I did decide to sell the a lot of parts and tried to sell the C, just didn't have the heart to see her go tho. Anyway feeling nearly 100% now and even contemplating further engine work/running gear work in the near future (funds allowing of course!) Also started putting exterior back to OEM...must be getting older & wiser!

Cheers mate, got the part numbers in the end, for ref: 056919081e oil high pressure switch #2 white 028919081d oil low pressure switch #1 was brown now blue

Hi mate, Had the same prob with mine, turned out to be the seal for the cold air intake for the blower in the scuttle area that had persihed. Was only a fiver for a new one from TPS.

Will be a positive for Porsche IMO, they could do with having some of VWs customer service skills and reliability....

After many years of awsome ownership I have decided to hang up the keys of the Corrado. I have started off loading a few parts and will put the car up for sale on a few forums or possibly ebay, as it has to go. It will be a sad day to see it go, but needs must.

Yep silver silk nappa audi exclusive interior, seen quite a few tbh. Wow onestep, the view and car look amazing!!! make me wish I was on holiday :(

The handling is superb, the car is lowered from factory with thicker arbs etc, when driving you feel like your in control of something much smaller, the DRC keeps it flat and the quattro system is superb. First time we had it on the motorway the third lane just emptied out, it pulls like a train all the way up to the limiter (tested on a track of course). Believe it or not fuel economy is not too bad if driven sensible :) Some pics from a recent meet:

LOL engine is massive! surprised it fits in that bay! Needed a family car so we got a B7 RS4 Avant......nothing like whopping a porkas ass in an estate with ur misuss and three kids in the back :)
-
Just have to decide what to do with the Corrado now..
-
mmmmmm utter filth 8)

Dont bother with spot weld cutters, expensive and fidgety......just get a good quality metall drill bit HSS carbon or whatever it is. Stop regular and lube with machine oil, you will drill through for a while, after a bit you well get a feel for the metal and you will surprised you can sense when you can have gone through just enough metal to split the panels. Also worth having a flat chisel and hammer too! Dont worry about making too much mess holes can always be filled!

You are all wrong! lol 5 cylinders and a turbo is the way forward!!!! Hey everybody happy!
