  1. if hes saying forget it, then maybe hes relised its his fault
  2. I still think the outside arch will start to deform when you try and fold the inner lips. I dunno...maybe they willl fold up a little bit without deforming the outside arch but then you still might have clearance problems, and with 9", you'll need all the clearance you can get I was gunna roll mine intill someone explained to me, then when i thought about it, it does make sense not to But hey thats just my opinion
  3. Welcome to the forum The best thing to do is do a search, theres pages and pages on that topic
  4. Yeah, i think your guys right, the back lips are so strong that if you start to try and fold the inner lips up, it will end up creasing the outside
  5. i dont think you can roll the rear lips properly (unless ur gunna smooth them over afterwards) because they are double skined.
  6. I would fit 215/35/17 tyres to give you more clearance if the wheels are et52 then with the addapers they will be et32, that maybe ok, depending on how close the inside rim is to the strut, are the struts standard? It will be a good idea to fit coilovers you will also have to trim the wheel arch lip right back, so there is no lip there atall
  7. and if anyone wants them, i've got 2 brand new powerflex rear axle bushes for sale
  8. Getting back to the topic, does this look like a standard corrado front engine mount?
  9. Wheres the cheapest place to get one of these? Is there one for all corrados?, or is there a seperate one for each corrado depending on the model? I pesume the 20vt in my car was put in on the original corrado engine mount, or is there a chance they could of used the mount that came from the golf which the engine came out of?
  10. Hearing that clip makes me want to sell my 20vt c and buy a vr6 c
  11. No there not split rims, just split rim look, its got to be diy cause there coming off soon to be replace with real split rims I was thinking of rubing the lacquer off with a relitively coarse paper, then working my way down to a finnest grade paper, then polish them with metal polish, that should work should'nt it? do i use wet and dry, or just dry sand them?
  12. My konig wheels that are on my car at the moment have got a lacquered polished outter rim, some of the lacquer has started to peel off in places, i was thinking of rubbing them down and re polishing them. How would i go about doing this?, what grades of sand paper would i use?, would i use wet and dry?
  13. The rear lights look good...well done Have you had a colour change?

  17. Lee- Dont you fancy fitting 9s on the front?, brand new replacement outer rims for zw1s on german ebay are only about £100 each
  18. Hutchyvw- Love the stance of your car, it looks great that low on those rims, what did you have to do to your rear arches for them to clear the tyre?
  19. hutchyvw- do you run at that ride height all the time?
  20. Im using 215/35/17 tryes on my nine's on the back, the offset on the wheel is et47, then with the 20mm adaper it becomes et27, and the inside edge of the rim is about 7mm away from the strut with the the spring platform wound up so it sits above the tyre, the inside edge of the rim is also about 7mm away from the trailing arm
