Hi, I am looking to swap out my UJ on my 1994 VR6 as it has a bit of play in it. Could anyone tell me if it can be unbolted and popped out without removing the column or does the column need to come out to let you get the UJ out? Thanks, Andy

As above - removed from my 1994 VR6. Perfect way to improve the shift on your Corrado. Reduces the throw front and back only. This is the standard shifter which has been cut and welded to reduce the throw. Complete shifter assembly ready to drop into your car using existing cables. Looking for £50 delivered. Thanks, Andy

Some of those numbers make me feel a bit better :) My VR has 235k on it but a new engine etc so it drives like a 40k car!!

As per the title really. I was tidying up all my invoices and thought it would be interesting to see what has been spent over the past 10years (excluding tax, insurance and fuel). Amongst them, I have a receipt from VW for a new engine and I have rebuilt the front end which means my VR6 has had a total of £17,000 spent on it since 2004!! Andy

I was changing the spark plugs at the weekend and thought I would give the compression a test out of interest. The engine only has around 40k on it and it kept very well so I expected the results to be good which they thankfully were. All cylinders were reading between 12 & 13 bar when warm :) Now for the MOT this week!! Andy

Corrado VR6 Front Brake Calipers and Disks Front brake calipers and disks removed from my 1994 Corrado VR6 when I done the 288mm conversion. The disks are measuring 20mm thick and are VW items so still have a bit of life left in them. I have lost 2 of the pads so you will need to replace these. Calipers have been painted gold at some point so could do with a tidy up but still worked perfectly. I will include the hoses too. 30 collected from Aberdeen or an extra 10 to courier.
