I would say advertise it see how it goes before you jump in to breaking,lots of time and effort involved in that. Get it on Scottishvag and see how it goes.

Good work there impressive stuff to do that job on your drive. Did you manage to get a good deal on it from some old dear in Largs ?? Its threads like this that makes me want to get my finger out and get my car out the garage and on the road.Think I`m going to use it this summer I normally buy a bike for the odd summer day when its sunny up here,but this year the corrado is going to be my summer toy. Getting fed up with the comfy refinement of the GTI too so going to get used to the old retro feel of the C. Hope to see you on the road soon

It will have no effect on normal law abiding citizens.Neds will still go out and buy cheap crap cars never register them and have no need to insure them. Means nothing to the average man in the street.

Yeah the MK5.5 was another VW cost cutting exercise as you say. Its build quality is much poorer than the MK5. Its also good to have the Corrado to look at and see how they used to build cars!! 8) 8) New Corrado seems to be just another urban myth :lol: :lol:

Just a thought new series of Wheeler Dealers is now on Discovery Real Time on Tuesdays. Just a thought with the price of Corrados curently rock bottom,wonder how long it will be before Mike Brewer decides its a possibility? This series has Subaru Impreza coming up,so a quality Corrado must be a possibility for a quick make over :? :?

TBH full VW service history is absolutely meaningless as I have just found out. My MK5 GTI has just broken a timing belt destroying most of the engine. The car has 50k on it and full VW history,and they dont want to know----barstewards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last place I would be taking my car is to VW :nono: :nono:

Headlights ---you have just pulled the stalk too far and clicked them onto the full beam position. :) Windows--- Yeah they do that :( Heater controls----Yeah there is a bulb in there, easy enough to replace once you have the fascia off(are they late or early heater controls--rotary or slide?) Not that it makes much difference remove the fascia and change the bulb :)

Opened garage door looked at it and shut the door again!!!! :lol:
