1. Hi mooG60 Still on the lookout, not fussed on condition just need one cheap and local tbh.
2. have you got one in a different colour with rust but closer ? thanks anyway
3. Hi Mate I have the solenoid ready for the de-locking of the rear panel but sadly its not the lock barrel part thats the issue. LWS didnt provide the part on the boot to fit the latch :censored: ie there is no way to close the boot and is only closed due to gravity, any bumps and the boot will open up. See in the attached image where the mouse is pointing Ordered a load of cf material to make my own though, failing that I will cut out the bracket from a metal version and bond it on some how Cheers blue95!
4. Need a boot / tailgate, any condition considered as need to hack some bits off it. Must be close to CV37 Stratford Upon Avon or Coventry.
5. Brought the old gal out of storage today to do a job I put on hold for a while. Sadly the cf boot doesn't have a lock mechanism support so need to figure out how to do that. May just canabalise a metal one for the brackets etc and glue them on some how.
6. Sorry, completely forgot about this, will try and dig it out tonight but probably best if Fla can help you out as I'm not confident I can find it tonight.
7. Only just seen this, but I have a RHD late spec version available if you are still looking for one
8. Think I may have one, not sure what it's worth. It does have a broken tab on it but could be glued back. Will dig it out tonight if I remember.
9. Engineer for Jaguar Landrover, was turbo charger specialist including e-supercharger but now work as Powertrain Integration for SVO
10. I know and this is my fall back, but my OCD wants me to do it properly with the springs.
11. These have managed to fall off and get lost from both the passenger and drivers side switches. Does anyone have these spare for sale?
12. Hi, mine was a 16V and I also upgraded to the vr6 rad (still 16v slam panel. I dont remember the stay fouling the hose. I am on a late spec 16V (raised bonnet), is yours an early spec? Can't you just bend the stay as needed to give clearance?
13. I think I have seen you around a few times, plus the missus mentions the occasional spot. I think the one I saw the other week was a green or blue colour, a dark colour for sure so not red, yellow.
14. Saw one last week in Stratford Upon Avon, had the corrado spasm and waived only to realise I was in my daily....must of looked like I was mental.
15. I've been on this forum for some time now but more recently I haven't been on it as much. I think the reason being that "life" takes over. But when ever I get a moment I come on and check. So checking in addition the CCGB site for event is less likely being that the forum was my first welcome to corrado ownership and am used to checking more regularly. I personally can never tell when or where the corrado meets are going to be as it seems to be scattered all over the place on the forums (unless there is a Page/calendar Ive missed??). I have often walked around event to find a corrado club stand and think that if had known I would have arranged to join them. Instead I end up being in the daily car to get to the event or if Im in the corrado I just go to the show n shine or standard display areas. I don't mind registering in order to support the preperation for events etc. Which I did for the CCGB, but I would want more than the privilege to be part of the club stand. I think this isn't the right motivation as a club stand cant function without members so instead should offer web service benefits like extra mail space, selling page access etc similar to this forum. TBH I don't quite get why this forum and CCGB are separate. Any way that they can be combined and have a "sticky" showing any up and coming Corrado events? If its a case that the CCGB wish to keep their independence (which is fair enough) then the partnership should be strengthened for eg membership to one links to the other? Just my 1p worth.
16. I have LWS CF wings on mine (as well as bonnt and rear tailgate) Passengers side fitted no probs but drivers needs a bit of fettling to fit. In addition, the two tabs that fix the wings to the A pillar are missing so you only have the bottom fixing to hold the rear of the wing in place
17. Hi RichG60 The speedo in corrado's is fed either electrically or mechanically from the gearbox. No link to the engine. This is how the arrangement in my r32 conversion anyway. Not sure why VSS would limit the engine speed. Maybe Im missing something. FYI, I and a few people fit CAN interface modules to convert the signal to a suitable voltage control for the rev counter
18. Any one finding issues with fitment of their bonnet clips? Mine seems really slack on the slam panel. When measuring the original and this new one, there is roughly 1mm decrease in size in the area which press against the slam panel. I have a 16v slam panel if that could be a reason? 19. I have an original late spec light switch if you want.
20. LWS, along with a CF tailgate.
21. so are you now wih an r32 engine? do you have any issues around 2k rpm?
22. In aqua blue but could do with a respray due to storage marks. £30 plus postage but would prefer buyer to collect or arrange courier.
23. Yes, it's got a kick up near the rear. I think I like it, still getting used to it. It's pretty obvious when the spoiler raises now. Cheers for the comment.
24. Wow, has it really been this long since I updated this thread! Lifes been so busy lately that I havent had much time for the car let alone the forum. However things are looking slightly calmer these days. Since the last update, not much has been done to the car, I have replaced the gearbox out put shaft seal in order to remedy the slipping clutch caused by contamination. I've atted a Trimsport carbon fibre tail light cover along with a Spoon Fed extended carbon fiber spoiler. Interior wise I have recently fitted a snap off boss because...well it was cheap and kinda cool. Now on air suspension with AirLift and V2 management. Relocated the battery to the boot which is now fully enclosed but needs carpeting. Been to MIVW twice now with the Corrado, been to a couple of shows including a local event where I managed to break down in front of hundreds of people (faulty MAF sensor). That was embarrassing. Next bits to sort are the dropped passenger window and more problematic is the poor running which is likely MAF and possibly ECU software or coolant sensors. Also have a integrated Might get the car to stealth and see if they can make sense of the running issue. The AWD conversion hasn't really progressed but I now think I have all the parts needed. On the look out for a new house (long story) so Im hopeful once Im in and settled, things with the AWD will pick up. Recently ordered some more carbon fibre bits which were due over a month ago but the company are being very slow to produce the parts. I was told the bits are ready but its hard to get through to them. Fortunately I haven't paid any money for the bits. My daily has had a rough time and was hit on two separate occasions. First took out drivers wing, door and part of the rear quarter but was all sorted. Recently been hit on the passengers side which took out the bumper and front wing. Caused it to be considered uneconomical for repair but am buying the car back and fixing it up myself. On the plus, both sides will have fresh paint. Any way, enough waffle
