Panels needed

need the piece missing in this picture to weld up the hole (front passenger side inner panel by battery. If no one can help can someone tell me if this is available from VW or if its the same piece as a golf mk3? Also looking for the leading edge of the top of the windscreen. Can any one help? Thanks
2. why would a standalone be better though? Wouldnt the OEM ECU still control AFR and be mappable anyway?
3. Some of you may be aware I'm progressing on a fairly big project and Ive reached a bit of a dilema and need some input. The project is a awd r32 and will hopefully run twin turbos as well as a few other tricks The direction I was going with originally was to have OEM management with full mk4/5 wiring loom to essentially convert the corrado into a modern arrangement so that all the sensors etc (traction, stability, fuel priming etc) are as vw would have intended to be in a golf r32. (this was going to be done by essentially reshelling a golf r32 with a corrado shell) However I'm hearing that the aftermarket ECM's are getting pretty good and offer allot of extras such as traction, haldex control?, power steering weight control (electronic assist steering ie corsa). Just worried of what I will likely loose compared to OEM (engine smoothness? etc etc??). I would imagine that the gains are perf tweaks, is that all?? Im looking for a bit of a debate to go on about which direction I should go for, and if its aftermarket what would be suggested and why. Cheers
4. Glad it turned out to be a pleasant result. TBH, Im starting to be as forgetful.
5. Got the chromed bits off someone on here ages back but didnt want to fit them until now. I actually had to make a hibrid with new OEM parts as I didnt want nasty aged plastic bits.
6. will sort a closed picture out. Shut lines are pretty good, if im picky it looks like the bonnet is marginally narrower. But tbh its hardly noticeable. @ Chris, if your wanting carbon, LWS are the guys. They are developing a composite tailgate with optional lightweight rear window so may save up for one of these. They are also tempted to make wings which Im really wanting
7. Fitted a full carbon fibre bonnet from LWS (great guys) along with a chromed latch and spring things
8. A missive thankyou to LWS. Andy, Lewis and the others are the best guys to deal with. I cannot emphasise on how good they have been with dealing with me. It is so difficult to find companies as good as this. I'm in no way affiliated with LWS but I am happy to say that they are an excellent group of guys to deal with. If you want a composite part, speak to these guys. Thanks again guys. Keep me posted on the other products ;-)
9. It was good seeing you guys there. Maybe again next year?
10. Forgot, here is the Audi. Was intended to remain standard but couldn't resist. Ive fitted debadged the rear, pressed plates. 19" wheels, S line interior and door trims along with Air Lift Suspension with Autopilot V2 control.
11. Here's what the Corrado looked like before it went to MIVW. Had to raise the rear up loads due to clearance issues but some new slimmer spacers should help with that. I've got a full carbon fibre bonnet on order which should hopefully arrive next week from Andy at LWS. They've been very good and are bending backwards to get me a bonnet to the standard I want. Need to polish the wheels up due to the poor British weather that I had to drive through on the way back from Holland. Off to a local car meet "Slam Media" with a few guys from the Peterborough Dubz Corps this Sunday. Will take this and the Audi (missus driving the Audi)

18 wheels

i tried my mates 18's and was pretty bad. 17 is rough. most people suggest 16s are best for rados.
13. i dont remember seeing a bearing in the crank so cant comment but i dont have a bracket on the back of the block for the gear box. I think it might be for the awd gearbox but could be wrong
14. spotted one at milton keynes karting circuit last Saturday.
15. as coullstar said, you need rh specific adaptors.
16. I'm getting back into my project as Im hopefully able to spend a bit more time on it. I'm still keen to help with the progression of this Matt. More recently Ive got two suppliers, maybe even three that I will approach with the request. Out of interest, what are you to do with the wings you have? It would be good to know that a decent set of wings are available for use for the moulds.
17. Agreed, doing this again next year.
18. I did look quickly and couldnt find it. I know I have one but if Vag nag can help you out it might be quicker. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. If I find it in the meantime Ill pm you.
19. thanks, struggling to find any details on these brembo's. brembo numbers should normally be 9 digits. These do look very similar to the 406 brembos, do these have integrated support brackets, hard to tell from the pictures
20. Just some personal feedback. I bought one of these with the last group sale. Very happy with it except now its showing signs of age, the flat part is no longer flat as the corners are bending up. I think its mainly due to the heat weve recently been having.
