  1. Thanks for coming down, great chatting with you and sorry I didnt see you go. Hope you got back ok? Jamie stopped trying with the limbo but Im sure if he carried out he would have bee the winner. the caddy and jetta drew at 45.5". Need to get myself a new MAF and sort out my driveshafts ready for my cars next trip out. Hopefully see you again before our next years event.
  2. surface rust isnt a huge concern. I was hoping to pay less really mate. just need the shafts if that helps lower the price?
  3. cool! as long as they are in good condition ie aren't bent, heavily corroded, damaged then the pics arent necessary as d/s are d/s lol just let me know how much your wanting for them inc postage. no rush for post so the cheaper the better.
  4. Need both the driver and passenger side shafts from a VR6 manual, no need for the cv joints. must be in usable condition ie no damage to the splines.
  5. Your prob right Kev. Wierd thing is that I dont remember it being this bad before. Will check basics again this weekend.
  6. either me or Chris (cdem). There are a few of us who run it. JC, check out my signature for details. TBH, we are branching out further than Peterborough. Including abroad.
  7. relay change?! will need to check that. whys it need changing? Kevin, I plan I doing that this weekend, also seen a few reports with golf r32's variable inlet being a potential. Thanks for the offer Chris. May take you up on it if I cant work out whats going on. Remind me, are you audi BDB?
  8. Tell me about it Sean! I want to go out and blast around.
  9. Ive never seen the glowing manifold and am unsure how much to believe from that garage too, so it may be a red herring not sure about mpg, only just really started to use it again this summer after the winter break. I dont recall the shudder being as bad last year. I feel a "shudder" on full load at 2k and seems to be there on coast down too but once past it seems fine, well except at 1k which also seems to have a similar feel but not as apparent. I have always had issues that the car doesnt run great on first start up. almost like its learning the parameters over again. lol, Ill be at the PDC meet, Im hosting it ;) If you could have a scan through I would be very appreciative as I am unsure what to look for. Just read your build thread, nice work mate!
  10. np Sean, I did mention a few posts back but here it is again "cant remember if its been discussed/resolved before but I get pretty bad kangarooing at 2000rpm and slight at around 1000rpm. Its getting quite annoying as at 2000rpm its pretty much 60mph where my journey seem to be most of the time so have to either choose a different gear or go faster to change the rev range. any one else face this? Not sure if this is linked or true but my last MOT place said that the manifold was glowing red when they were doing the emissions test!! They sat at 2000rpm to do this part of the MOT which makes me wonder if it's linked to the above, maybe the ECU is incorrectly setting the timing? As a reminder, im 3.2 24v with BDB engine and ecu. FPR set to 4bar iirc." havent done a scan yet, but not sure what to look out for as last scan showed loads of errors due to the conversion anyway.
  11. great read. Looking forward to seeing it run properlu as I bet you are too. Sad to hear about the issues you had with Mark/SWICT. I must admit that his customer service was very slow and when I had issues he didnt really want to know or help. Fortunately Kev came to the rescue for me (legend!). I think I still have an ecu or wiring issue, might take it somewhere else to sort it out, maybe stealth. all the best with the rest of the work.
  12. Anyone have any suggestions of my issues at ~2000rpm with the jerking? its getting friggin anoying
  13. Great event as always, well done guys and gals for organizing it all. Great seeing some familiar face and of course meeting new people. Thanks too, to everyone coming up to speak to me and ask about my car, not used to all the lovely attention. Chris, Josh and myself had a great time. Congrats to Chris and I think Matt? to winning the best rado's of the day. Lovely cars indeed. If anyone wants to see more of us, or even a few other Corrado's. Come say hi at the PDC meet at 2pm at the Peterborough Greyhounds Stadium on the 1st June https://www.facebook.com/events/632355620163706/ Would be great to see you again. Pictures from today can be found here
  14. my TPS can't get them as they have come back as obsolete. So won't be able to get any for me or others, sorry. Matt (Mr Rossy), I will be taking the two reserved clips. Payment of £2 as gift has been made. Thanks again.
  15. Lee, you made me giggle. State "steep" and then go on to as if they are the top ones. Yes they are the top of the range (unless you go competition). http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_product_range.php?MainPage=coilover http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_variant_3.php Agreed they are allot of money but when you compare to the new price of over £1300 or 1400 these are being sold at a sensible price. You can get cheaper coilovers, but if you do your research youll end up wanting these (trust me, I wouldnt have spent that much without allot of reading). I believe that these are the best coilovers you can get for a corrado
  16. I drive past TPS every day so doesnt cost me much plus need to get other bits too, inc the possibly obsolete dash trim (screw covers)
  17. Pretty much up or down. If I sit at ~2000rpm its pretty noticeable as i can sometimes make the car hop around. Only really noticed it recently, but that could be as I was being a little less "enthusiastic" with the drive
  18. will see if i can get some myself from TPS guys, but if you could reserve two for me just in case I cant get any. I was only messing, got no issues for the interest, just want to make sure I get some what ever the route. Plus, for those who know me will know that Im a big fan of helping out others.
  19. Tempest you missed me off your list. Only mentioned it two posts up! Myself (Quicky1980), Chris (cdem) and Josh (no on here) are aiming to come down.
  20. errr, thought this was my wanted post?! Ive got a TPS account so will do the same as Rossy. Is this the correct part number 191857971?

  22. I have a set of very low mileage kw v3's only used them on a weekend/show car. Only just taken them off the car today. These are superb coilovers. £900
