strangely enuff, i did the same, i was just going to overhaul the rear brakes and ended up shotblasting and painting rear beam, new calipers, discs, bearings, hoses etc etc, i just couldnt leave it alone :)

hello fella, new lenses can be purchased seperately here in the uk no problem, if you have problems trying to purchase another new lens then it is an easy job to swop off a secondhand unit, there is a slight change in lenses at about 1992 , yours will be the earlier type. hope that is of some help :thumbleft:

i must admit to having a soft spot for the mini, this is the sort of thing i`d like to doing ( amongst a heap of other things i`d like to do ) , sure looks like a major project and i`d love to see it finished, i`m sure it will embarrass quite a few at the traffic lights :thumbleft:

i`ve recently replaced my rear calipers on my `93` vr6 and i paid £41.80 +vat per caliper ( exchange ) from a company called Kimber friction ltd in Southampton, if your intersted you can contact them on 02380 226577.

top motor the bora, there are times when the corrado plays up that i consider buying a vr6 4 motion bora instead ...just a shame they dont do a 2 door ( dont say golf ), probaly the main reason i dont, Andy665, your is looking quite nice fella :thumbleft:

they are a git on the vr6 mate, i drilled the heads off the allen bolts and it still didnt want to shift, eventually used a cordless sabre saw and cut the barsteward off........£70 - £80 quid for a new one -
i`m sure that darren at g-werks can sort out an oil cooler duberry type thing for you if you contact him :thumbleft:

i got the male / female sets from a local tool supplier and have found them great for removing stubborn corroded nuts and bolts :thumbleft: -
