Who's travelled the furthest for a car in one stint???
gaz the geezer replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
i know what you mean, i tend to work a fair bit in scotland and usually manage to come home with a few "strangers" notes that somtimes get refused in shops down here :) .........and now, back to topic -
what i cant understand is why cut the roof off ? i can see the reason if the doors were stuck solid like the result of a collision, you`d have little choice, but lets face it, the rear seat on the jag isn`t a small area you`d have to squeeze onto, surely someone could fit a neckbrace and then slide a back board under the patient with the door open without a problem ? if i was in that position i`d have to pull the old " whats that up there " routine and drag the fecker out whilst everyone`s looking the other way

Who's travelled the furthest for a car in one stint???
gaz the geezer replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
....i havent travelled as far as some of the fanatics on here but i travelled from southampton to pontypool - a round trip of 250+ miles, it`s the furthest i`ve travelled to view a car and i did so without seeing any pics of the offered car, it`s a long way to go to tell someone to f*ck off if the car was a lemon but alas it wasnt and it`s now my current corrado :) -
welcome fella, have you tried the search to see if there is anything that can help you ,

Sad, sad day - company car ownership looms....
gaz the geezer replied to stormseeker's topic in General Car Chat
is it just the storage / parking issues that make you feel that the corrado has to go ? -
back when i bought my present house, i frustrated the hell out of my missus by not being interested in a property without a garage or at least the land to build something decent, there were several properties that were perfect ( for her ) except for the workshop space, her reward for putting up with my insistant requirements of a garage is a well rounded, unfrustrated car owner who no longer had to do stuff in the road or driveway- the only problem is now wanting more space as i`m a bit of a magpie and tend to collect allsorts that WILL come in handy one day :)

-
PETROS -i visit your city quite often with work and had noticed that a sneaky cop car usually hides it`s self up carron cresent ( eastfield ) just up the road from springburn, he sits up out of the way with the bridge shielding him. i`ve seen two people get nicked in the last month :lcop:
-
........whenever i buy a car it seems like the market value seems to drop, i`ll always find another similar or better car at less money a few months later - or maybe i`m just being paranoid :fadein:
-
