  1. blue is the colour, vw is the name laa laa laa etc, nice job mate, my only observations would be the front spoiler lip being a bit vunerable mate but otherwise a nice project :thumb right:
  2. not so keen on the grey - looks like it`s waiting for it`s top coat - mmmmm shiny primer
  3. not for me, it only takes 20 mins or so to wash by hand
  4. i know what you mean, i tend to work a fair bit in scotland and usually manage to come home with a few "strangers" notes that somtimes get refused in shops down here :) .........and now, back to topic
  5. what i cant understand is why cut the roof off ? i can see the reason if the doors were stuck solid like the result of a collision, you`d have little choice, but lets face it, the rear seat on the jag isn`t a small area you`d have to squeeze onto, surely someone could fit a neckbrace and then slide a back board under the patient with the door open without a problem ? if i was in that position i`d have to pull the old " whats that up there " routine and drag the fecker out whilst everyone`s looking the other way
  6. ....i havent travelled as far as some of the fanatics on here but i travelled from southampton to pontypool - a round trip of 250+ miles, it`s the furthest i`ve travelled to view a car and i did so without seeing any pics of the offered car, it`s a long way to go to tell someone to f*ck off if the car was a lemon but alas it wasnt and it`s now my current corrado :)
  7. welcome fella, have you tried the search to see if there is anything that can help you ,
  8. is it possible to get the flywheel just skimmed rather than replace ?
  9. decisions, decisions....i`m afraid this is one that you must make for yourself, sorry dude
  10. ...nothing wrong with a bit of car based nudey prod fun
  11. nice one, i remember the first corrado i bought, i had a hard job leaving it alone and virtually had to prise myself out of it, now i wish i just had the time to get my latest one back on the road :)
  12. either way, you gotta be some sort of cock to do that on a public highway :cuckoo:
  13. i quess it could seem funny if you imagine it being said in a worzel / west country type accent :)
  14. is it just the storage / parking issues that make you feel that the corrado has to go ?
  15. back when i bought my present house, i frustrated the hell out of my missus by not being interested in a property without a garage or at least the land to build something decent, there were several properties that were perfect ( for her ) except for the workshop space, her reward for putting up with my insistant requirements of a garage is a well rounded, unfrustrated car owner who no longer had to do stuff in the road or driveway- the only problem is now wanting more space as i`m a bit of a magpie and tend to collect allsorts that WILL come in handy one day :)
  16. nice one, value for money considering everything else with these cars can be costly :thumbleft:
  17. http://www.click2add.co.uk/en-gb/dept_41.html give that a go fella, russek manuals are a pretty good guide and it`s only about £9 + p+ p of course, if you get really stuck i could probaly give you a hand at some stage - you are only 3/4 hr away :thumb right:
  18. PETROS -i visit your city quite often with work and had noticed that a sneaky cop car usually hides it`s self up carron cresent ( eastfield ) just up the road from springburn, he sits up out of the way with the bridge shielding him. i`ve seen two people get nicked in the last month :lcop:
  19. ........whenever i buy a car it seems like the market value seems to drop, i`ll always find another similar or better car at less money a few months later - or maybe i`m just being paranoid :fadein:
  20. you could try " skins " sound deadening from audioscape, have a chat with james to get a real deal :thumb right:
  21. tidy job fella, that ride height is just spot on and love the alloys - wide ones on the rear - nice :thumb right:
