I got spotted yesterday in my C by a mobile speed camera unit... oops :nono:
-
After witnessing a minor bump a few weeks ago the owner of the car involved e-mailed me this, does it count as a chuftie? You may remember the little old lady running in to the back of my Nissan GT-R a few weeks back in Hagley ( I was looking in my rear view mirror and saw her facing and talking to her friend as she approached my car…she was well in to her 80’s ) Anyway just to let you know that despite the fact she hit the back of the Nissan with quite an Impact there was only a scuff which polished out so I’m not making a claim……..mind you my neck has started to hurt…LOL Just thought I would let you know what transpired as you kindly gave me your details as a witness. Nice Classic Scirocco by the way I was tempted to correct his faux-pas, especially as he was in the motor trade... but then I found out he sold Evo's, so I let him off for not knowing about real cars...

Ooh, i spotted VeeDubHev too the other week, lots of

Very useful, looks like i'll have to have a bit of a fiddle to get the power button to work - i think there was a fix on that site for my cameras symptoms, it charges but then the on/off button doesn't function. As for the other one, it works nicely, not tried it on the car/bike yet but if its dry on Friday i'll be strapping it to the bike for my daily commute :norty:
-
Not a corrado spot but i did spot Drewie99 in the DOS-mobile crawling down manor way
-
Right, i have a memory card, been charging the camera all morning, put the card in, tried to turn on and nothing happens... no lights, nothing... Have i not charged it enough or have i bought two duds?! Oh and i love the translation of the instructions
-
Got my two today :D just need a memory card now! Not happy that i've got to take one apart to realign the lens but oh well, as long as it still works!

I like this one of mine :luvlove:

DG Autotech open day 15th May everyones welcome
wazza replied to nemesis360's topic in Suppliers Forum
Looks like everyone had a great day! Unfortunately we only managed to pop in for about 15mins (just enough time to grab a burger, a couple of biscuits, some crisps and get mauled by Jack) but there looked to be a good line up of cars, better than most shows and meets! Well done guys for such a successful start and I wish you all the best, may DG Autotech live long and prosper. Waz -
And almost all of them in the most desirable colour too... 8) I believe one of them was in the most desirable of all colours though! :luvlove: Mind you, all of the corrados were in danger of being overshadowed by 'the loner'

2 today, busy day for corrado spotting! Red one on the island by the esso garage on the A449 worcester road then, At our appointment to view a wedding reception venue i parked up next to a nice black vr6, the owner turned out to be a wedding photographer! Had a lovely chat about corrados with her when i suppose i should have been discussing the venue with the owners! Never mind, at least the better half knows to expect these things... and to top it off the venue was perfect!

Blackberry? flying around 5 ways roundabout in Birmingham this morning at about 8:40. Didn't catch the number plate i was sat too far back from the island, but looked nice and clean and tidy
-
I thought that too a while ago but then DG found out that it was because i owned the country's first ever VR4
-
Dark blue VR? 'm' reg heading out of Walsall on the A34 about 10:20 this morning. I was stuck in the traffic in a BMW heading into Walsall so didn't dare attract attention to myself... oh the shame...
-
My thoughts too. Maybe i'm getting old but I find 'text speak' infuriating! (and i'm only 30  ). Aside from that, although not something i'd do, I think the all black look suits the car.
-
I spotted yours, The_dudes, OSV, crazydave'd daily, nemesis360 and -=Kris=-s wow yellow is all I can say to that  8) I'm sure they've found a way to breed them!

Popped in to DG's yesterday but i don't think it really counts as a 'spotted', there's too many to count!
-
Very sorry to hear this, its bad enough that so many are being broken up for parts! I had something similar happen in my old 911, pulled over when smoke started coming through the dash vents, popped the bonnet armed with my fire extinguisher but couldn't find the source of the smoke. Waited for it to clear then got back in and drove home! Think that was a lucky day for me as found that two wires had burnt out when i was having a prod around a few weeks later! Good luck with your insurance and hope you find a suitable replacement soon.

Me and my girlfriend made (well she made, i detailed) a golf anni for my mate's 30th (first ever novelty cake attempt) and didn't think it turned out too bad?! Maybe the wheels were a little oversized...
-
I'm between stourbridge and kiddy and there's quite a few around these parts! I had a spotted the other day but i can't remember when or where now...
-
I think there's some on the corrado club site of Crazy Dave's VRT, there was one of the Castle Combe track day and i think a hill climb, both sound very tasty :norty:
-
I'm not far from the Stourbridge area, and it might have been me you spotted on the way up to the 5 ways island if it was an ice violet vr 'WAZ' number plate? I'm crawling around in the traffic around there most days as i work down the road. The green VR pulling out of the stourbridge rugby club could be my brother's mate, although i've never seen it i think it might be green? Quite a few around Stourbridge if you know where to look! Waz

Nugget spotted in my works visitor car park yesterday lunchtime - 9 Frederick Road, Birimingham. Was going to have a closer look when i got back from my lunchtime stroll but it had gone by the time i returned :(

I have similar symptoms, although stalling happens both hot and cold! Starting isn't normally a problem and its been fine for a few weeks, but every now and then it'll turn over and over but won't fire... MAF on mine is relatively new (2 years i think, if that) and as soon as unplugged it dies. A few weeks ago it was diagnosed as a poor connector to the MAF, which following cleaning has improved things no end, but its still stalling every now and then. It should be popping into the DG Autotech car-spa soon as i've asked them to have a fiddle (and look at the car  ) so hopefully they'll work their magic! Waz

Not a corrado, but spotted Drew in his DOS mobile catching 40 winks in a lay-by whilst on my way to work  Good idea for advertising mate, if you're there tomorrow bring a thermos and i'll stop off for a cuppa on my way past!
