Anyone seen the advert on the Telly. it's supposed to tell you that your car is about to break down. How does that work then? Might be a good gadget to have for a corrado. Ha ha

Need to paint my walls white first.... Did notice you can. Buy 20 litres of floor paint on eBay for about 50 pounds. I guess it's rubbish.

any recommendations for workshop / garage floor paint... needs to be hard wearing don't want to do it too often... was just going to pick some Leyland trade up from screwfix, is their anything better.

I never use my car but change every six months filter and oil. If it's fine now I would not bother but put fresh in 7 months time (unless you have a cheap supply of oil).. you will find the engine block gets condensation in it over winter... the oil will go slightly like mayo... as it won't get up to temptreture with normal running to burn it off. Nothing to worry about I run mine every month to get the oil round the system... if left for a long time the engine can sound very tapppy. Leave car in gear and hand break off, stops the rear breaks sticking if you don't have a mk4 rear calliper conversion.

Is there a classic part specialist for old pugs ? Are the parts in good supply.

45 on early cars late was 55 ish

What's your dashboard look like. What's the cars manufacture date as opposed to registration number. L was round about change over date for vr6. So if it was an early m plate the bumper could be right if the car was registered late.. about this time they used a mismatch of early and late parts in a Vr. It's got the right chin spoiler which is 90 mm they changed it to 50 mm on a n plate.

Thanks folks... the stuff that came through was a lot nicer yellow colour that came out initially. I used an easy bleed on a bike tyre at 12 psi. Don't really like using it as it pushes the stuff through rather than sucking it.. always very wary of the valves on the abs pump. But it works and is easy. Don't realise how rubbish the brake pedal is compared to a modern car.

As title how much fluid does the vr6 system hold... done a fluid change this morning just wondering if I pushed enough through.... must of used about 800ml not quite a litre.
