    Thanks all.. I. Never over tighten it. It's max 25 n/m but I do find it tight. Will see if I can get a new cup or decent secondhand one on Monday.

    what do you guys use to change the oil filter on a VR... after 20 years I've managed to destroy the plastic housing the filter goes in.... I've always used a 36mm socket to remove the filter but to day I've manages to destroy the plastic nut on the housing.... so I will be after a new housing on Monday.. managed to get the housing off with a standard oil filter chain round the upper 14 flutes. but it wasn't nice.. ives seen cups that fit the 14 flutes but nothing deep enough.

    Only 2 shows for me this year.... Goodwood FOS and Silverstone Classic.... which has car club displays.

    I used to enjoy going to shows.... but don't bother these days... think I've been their and done it.... instead I get my fix here.... don't like showing my car off these days, just like tinkering.... I know I should as it would get appreciated.

    Is it easy to remove the front seats... Mine are heated....if that makes a difference.. If it's a simply job tempted to remove to have a good Hoover... Do they slide forward or back off the runners...

    The Mrs locked the BMW keys in the car once in bournmouth got put on the back of a breakdown truck and taken back to Oxford.

    Mystery corrado problem on the way home, call AA and get a tow home on back of truck to save fuel :)

    You can test for a dead sensor with just a volt metre. Test all four sensors internal resistance. Can't remember the figure but if three are a constant and one reads something different that's the dead sensor.

    not been to Silverstone for years... going this weekend to the classic GP and Touring car event...... what's the parking like and getting in to the place these days... I'm coming from Buckingham stowe area.... I guess it wont be as busy as the F1 but its a popular event.... any tips where to stand / sit.. all the grandstands are free this weekend.
