    the MOT says its done about 100 miles a year in the last 5 years... has failed on struts and shocks in the past and general brake line corrosion.

  22. I'd get the worst of the rubbish off first with a jet wash.. Your local car wash should have one. You can leave the muck on someone else's drive. Depending on how clean you want the arches to be then Jack the car up and do the rest by hand.
