anyone a aircon guru. so I ran the engine last night and put the aircon on... not been used for a long time never been serviced I guess... turned it off rapidly as their was a constant clink and clunk noise coming from the alternator area in the engine bay.. the noise stopped when the air con was turned off.... so air co related. any ideas ? I guess the answer is it has lost all the contents of the airco system and needs a service... anyone advice

The binnacle corners were redesigned so they didn't break.... I guess Jim has sold them all... he normally takes orders first before committing to manufacture... so he's not got too much stock... you may be able to get the cad file off him.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-Polster-Sitzschaumteile-links-und-rechts-wirklich-neu-Schaumstoff-A/132401719306?hash=item1ed3c1e80a:g:Q6kAAOSw5dlaDfQh has anyone bought a set of these yet ? I assume they will fit a late spec corrado without recaros. did the golf cab have the same seats as a corrado ?

If your unsure how to do it, get a pro to do it. From memory their are 6 bleed nipples... 2 in engine bay

Has the fluid been changed recently.... it may have water/ condensation in it, if it's old... you can check it with a guage. But I'd prob do a complete fluid change... bleeding the brakes I find a nightmare on a corrado.

Zac used to make excellent looms he's not been around for a bit... maybe someone might give him a nudge if he's interested to make some more... they had the three relays but I added OEM connectors http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?41616-Uprated-Headlight-looms-for-2013/page93&highlight=Delfinis38

That's the sender I used on a vr6 engine. Either use spade connectors on the back of the the guage or connection block. I bought one from vw with the wires... but I was told a sunroof motor is the same connection block. From one of my previous posts.... Quote Originally Posted by diarmaid16 View Post Good stuff! They are 3 quid each.. To be honest you could just buy the wire and terminals for the plug off eBay and make them up yourself. Would be cheaper. Or I've been told it's the same plug as a mk3 golf sunroof motor...

the Halfords all season medium cover used to be a good quality cover and the fit was good on a corrado….. not sure now that's they've changed the material and added vents... worth a look though

I had to remove the door card as the wires were zip tied to the door behind the door card

Hope you were working and not the patient !
