Just need to know if the oil pressure switches on a 16v were any different to a g60? As I seem to have g60 clocks fitted in my valver and the buzzer is going off on high idle/. Thanks

Still available from vw under 40 quid I paid about a month ago. Still expensive though

I've done blue ones.

Is the classic parts stock known at the dealers, can you order through them or they separate?

White needles, 8k on revs. Digi clocks. plug and vdo vacuum plug on the back.

I fitted a new expansion tank, when putting it all back together. I replaced all the coolant when I fitted the new head/gasket with g13. I'm waiting on another set of clocks, oil switch and a pressure gauge so should know more soon but there's definitely nothing nasty in the oil/mayo as you'd expect with a blown gasket

Having several things happen now which is worrying Losing coolant, cant find any leaks, nothing on the floor. It goes very quickly. I need to put in about a litre daily. I'm not even using the car, just starting it up an idling for a bit. Oil pressure lights on on fast idle, I'm getting a new switch tomorrow in case its that. But with that and the coolant and general crap running, I'm thinking head gasket? Thing is, I put a new gasket on when I fitted the KR head about 2/3 years ago and only very recently have I been driving the car, It only just been MOT'd for the first time in bout 5 years. how could the gasket go already? Is there another way the coolant could be lost? I constantly have the coolant level light on even once I've topped it up. Can it be to do with the oil pressure issue? I'll check again tomorrow for coolant loss, I topped it up earlier, if I check tomorrow and its gone down and the floor is dry, whats going on? :) Thanks

thanks again, I'm going to borrow a pressure gauge this weekend to get it all confirmed, I think there might be a fault with the clocks or the high pressure sender, or at worst a new oil pump

I done a alloy wheel and it looks ok to start, theres no gloss to it, after a while it'll peel off as my wheels have, I can see it being good for badges and things like that, but a whole car I wouldn't think it would last too long

After a set of early valver clocks. Needs to be 100% functional of course Thanks

I fancied a black roof after I saw a silver rocco at MIVW this year, I then fancied it on my new a1 but they only did the full roof on 5 Door. I tried to find a pic of the rocco from my trip but cant :(

I cant tell know what worked and what didnt on my old clocks. the beeping is pressure? as it can't be temp as its cold when it comes on.

Afternoon I recently changed the clocks on my valver as mine had started doing odd stuff like mph being wrong. I've borrowed a set and now the oil warning light and beep comes on after I drive it a bit, not on idle. I just done an oil change today after the beeping started yesterday. But it still beeps, with the old clocks it never bleeped or had a warning light on for oil. If the pressure was bad before when I had the original clocks would the car not just given up? I was driving it pretty hard and if there was a oil pressure issue I'd thought something might of gone?! What do you think I should do next? [video=youtube_share;0lok2C3aAkI] Thanks
