Hi I'll just struggled with a new cluster loom yesterday after forgetting some great advise about the lock on the back :bonk::bonk::bonk: Anyway, I cleverly haven't remembered the order all the other plugs etc, go back and have just stuck them all in as best as I could remember.. Will this make a difference or do they all have a specific place on the back of the box? If they do has anyone got a diagram? Thanks Kempy

All fitted. Looks to be pretty bright, I've not driven a Rado in a few years so I can't visualise them before but upgrade was easy once I engaged my brain, next is my fried dash loom. Then mot tomorrow!

Have received my loom thanks. Just one question, where is the ballast resistor? Is. It the yellow thing attached to the wing?

so get the new loom and put in an inline fuse on a upgraded earth wire whilst its off the car and whilst i'm at it do the exactly same for the headlight switch?

I've not played around with the back of the fuse board before so you tips should save me some time hopefully, why would it burn like this? I've seen a loom on ebay so I'll need to buy that first. just disturbed by the fact its getting too hot

I've noticed my Oil Temp wasnt giving me a reading on my MFA. I've read the old threads on here, decided to take the clocks out and noticed that 2 of the pins were nasty, then on closer inspection, the wires for the oil temp(i assume) are melted and burnt. When the car was in the bodyshop sometime when it was running smoke was coming from behind the clocks, so this is what that was probably. Whats caused this and how can I prevent this happening? Also, I bet fitting a new loom for this is fun?! Thanks Kempy, a small setback

fitted the early door cards back today. I had put late ones on years ago but I want it more original inside. I had to repair the wiring for all the switches and solder the plugs back on all works nicely now. next I need to make a list of stuff to do, Indicators arent working for some reason, i'll sort it hopefully
