Fitted the left hand side speakers with the components and crossovers and the rear speakers. Slowly tidying up my amateurish previous work with chocbloxks. Tidy soldering going in now

Thanks Makes sense. I plugged in the stereo yesterday and only had one dash speaker!! It must be caught on something because it's half way across the dash and it's got no slack. I swapped the dash out for a flocked one months ago.

Spacers will worsen the problem. I have the same et wheels basically waiting to go on mine soon. Sounds like the tyres have a slight stretch? They'll hopefully be fine you might need to roll arches and use a little camber, if it's normal ride height in they'll be Ok but depends if you like that look. I think the track width on the front of the vr is wider too so maybe a bit more difficult.

My valver has a straight through pipe, no cat. Never had problems with emissions. I do have friendly testers though..

Is it a kr or 9a? I think they are different. I have some spares that might be ok

Ill try run the car for a bit first. Its done less than 100 miles in 5 or 6 years. Might need to be run in a bit. Just waiting to tax it next week

Mate, steves g60 is in better condition than my valver. Mines more of a project. Mines a aqua blue 2.0l valver needs some love.

I've got this problem on my silver valver too?! it seem too long? I actually bought a new one for the blue valver and that still does the same?! I can't work this out

Put the splitter on and better fogs and indicators I had. I think the saggy bumper isn't really that bad, I've torqued up the bumper bolts fully and seems fine now. the bumper was in the guides fine. Waiting for May to tax it so I can have a good idea if the work I've done on the head has worked. There might be a case to do the hydraulic cam followers in the winter as they are quite noisy. I got my wheels to fit too and hopefully there's no problems there. Probably should of done them last week when I done head gasket. So the Hydraulic cam followers will be making the noise? and they simply lift out once the cams are out? I've had the cams out once or twice before and very recently so I'm familiar with that part. In the Head gasket set I had valve stem seals, are they any harder to fit once the cam followers are out?

Any idea if that's an early or late dash pod?
