Excellent tip Coolrado!!
-
Yes they do, the problem is that the wires get very corroded. give yours a slight tug and i'm sure they come crumbling out! I think they're around £15 each from the dealers though, compare for £2 - £3 each from non heated.......mine are knackered but i've been using the VW washer fluid recently and haven't had a problem with them freezing up yet!
-
well no it wouldn't, but unless you've got parts lined up as well you may struggle to find any, also a 16v corrado could hardly be called a 'cheap' run around
-
yah, early and late headlights are different.......but my valvers as late as they come and still has the same looking slam as an earlier one
-
Could well be right.......Although the VR is totally different with regards to the top, also why would they create a different one if they could have just used the one of a G60 or valver?
-
Slam panels are different with the rad mounts being in different places

Remove and disconnect fogs & indicators, remove the black plastics in the corners of the underside of the bumper, undo the 2 17mm bolts on either side....you may wish to put a bottle jack under the engine, i've heard stories of the engine shifting due to the smaller bolts in the middle of the 17mm ones being broken! Much easier with two people, its supprisingly heavy!

Yeah a flashing light is either level too low or water too hot, as stated in the cars manual.
-
urmmm. 1 of 2 things i think, either its the switch under the "paddle" in the airbox or this ISV. Check that the swich is working (i.e you can press and relese it) and unplug the isv to see if that changes the running of the engine running changes

Because, knowing GSF, they probably thought you were wanting to buy parts for your dishwasher....
-
It a real git to do, i think it goes under and to the side i think...so in the end, kind of through it....if that makes sense. if i am wrong you'll soon notice as it'll have a big bend in it, don't worry it wont damage the cable. Have a feel about first and find the hole ( :norty: ) if you prop a torch on the outside you should just about be able to see it. also the fact that it goes through 2 skins with a bit of cloth in between means that it'll probably get stuck! You'll either need a bit of good luck or a lot of patience!

 a supplier of toad love
-
I think it needs sorting so it doesn't get pruned then........
-
They are a pain but they are better, the provide the correct pressure (if they haven't been removed too many times before) all the way round and there's no chance of over tightening and buggering up the plastics
-
Not sure but buy a VAG one not a GSF one.....the VAG quality if far superior.

Rad weld or similar is an option, as far as i know this just goes into the system and blocks up any hole. It is however a temporary solution and can bugger things like the water pump and thermostat. The best way to deal with the problem is to replace the radiator, if it's rusted through in a couple of places already are you going to be happy driving around wandering when the next bit is going to blow? i wouldn't be....

The "fuel distributor" is the metering head to supply the injectors, you should be able to release the 3 or 4 clips holding the top to the bottom of the air box. you wont be able to lift it right off but should be able to remove and replace the filter. The rotor arm is glued into place at the factory, get a pair of mole grips and crush it off being careful not to bend the stud.

With the fun of the old Corrado love images I thought I'd create a slight spin off called the Toad love thread! Just add your pics of Toad (or inappropriate Tom as he more commonly known by at his local council!) showing his love! Here is a picture of the lovable tractor driving scamp giving a bit of love to one of our favourite moderators at the Stealth rolling road day! (sorry that it's a bit blurred, but I did have to be quick to catch the action )

I would say that means you thermostat isn't opening......give your pipes a squeez

00516 Closed Throttle position Switch - there is a connection lead and 2 (i think) switches on the throttle body itself, this is the place to start 00540 Knock Sensor - Do you have aftermarket leads on the car? without the pickup ring on a lead you would probably get this error. hope this is of help!

I know you said that it still didn't work after fitting the new thermo switch but just thought i'd say that if you want a brand new one i've got one that you could buy......... -
