I have mine in the glove box. For the simple reason that I didn’t want to put make any holes etc. I know it sounds silly. It is a digital gauge and it stores the highest output. The gauge is very easy to read and is a bit of a stealth install as it has a black facia and when there is no power its hard to spot. Obviously its not the best position but all I'm interested in is the max boost so I know my charger is healthy. The only problems are that it doesn’t read Vac and its not in an ideal position. I already have the oil and Volt in the usual spot.

The other question you then have to ask is how long has it been since your brand new car rolled of the prouction line? I know now that they dont sit for as long as they used to but makes you think if you apply the above logic. And then how about when VAG reset the milliage on the car before you buy it so it reads zero.

How do you get them to go green? I have to vdo items down there but would like them to match the rest of the dash. At the moment they are white :(

Mines doesnt seem to react to the fan problem. As traffic around my way is bad and parking seems to push the temp up all the time I would expect that to be setting mine off a lot. As the fan runs on and off for ages when I park up. Cheers

Mines works been in the car for 3 years and 4 days (just renewed my insurance :wink: To be honest its not been a smooth ride every six months or so it throws the toys out the pram. But this only happens if it is really hot in the car (i.e. heat on full) Not sure if it is motion & heat sensors or what so could be talking crap. Again every while the fob will not arm the car or unarm but it gets there after five minutes of trying(maybe new battery required) and the last problem is the sender under the bonnet just had a fit (you know when you open the door you get a beep) well I opened the boot and two doors and the think was doing morse code . Point being when the car was armed the alarm would go off as it thought the bonnet was being opened. This problem cured itself after some wd40. So in brief it works but like all car alarms a little bit querky. Mines was fitted by a local guy I tend to stay away from large installers and go local. Maybe an idea to call toad direct and ask them what the score is and if there authorised dealer is taking the p*&^ or is just to lazy to sort it out. Oh and welcome to the FORUM :)

Its a 980 mile round trip :cry: :cry: :cry: for me I really didnt want to post the G60 but get the car looked over but darn thats a lot of driving on some of GB's finest roads. Maybe a mobile G60 lab to take up north for a while every year :wink: :wink: :wink: I was actually suggesting the above for your web site (but I guess you got that)

Magnecor do 7.5 8 and 8.5 (I think) I got the 8.5 ones for mine the coating is very soft and fitted into my clips may e different on the VR not sure.

Hi I have the same alarm as you and have disconnected the battery on mine many times. Not sure what you mean about the code and havent read your other post so this may be of no help but you never know
