ABS Brake pedal position sensor - DG Refurb service

Funnily enough it measures the position of the brake pedal...which tells the abs system how hard your braking. If your popping in on saturday we can scan the codes for you FOC -

I can stick some of these together and paint them black for you  -
Hi all, We can now offer these as a refurbished part (due to VW making them obsolete) they are fully tested and come with a 12 month guarantee. Send us your sensor and we will repair it and pop it back in the post to you the same day. Refurb price is £49.95 inc vat and postage. Thanks DG Autotech

It was running a 16v one as this hasnt got the tube for the ABS (as thats in the bin!) but im going to run a remote reservoir to fit the inlet pipes in. Its a Holset HX40, it was stupidly cheap and brand new so I thought id give it a try, after doing some research there are a few people running them on Skylines (2.5 6 cylinder) and their making 1 bar of boost at 3k so it should be ok. I can always put a smaller hot side on it if its crap! -

We will be having a BBQ and there will be plenty of tea and biscuits as usual :) We will also be handing out some trophies for various categories, so get buffing  We should be kicking off at about 10am but dont worry if your running late! Directions on how to get to us http://www.dgautotech.com/dgauto/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=92&Itemid=78 Hope to see you on the day Graham and Dave -

I thought it would be lighter than that seeing as its stripped out etc...but then again it has got a VR in the front!
-
And about 400kg lighter than a Corrado

I spoke to our supplier this morning they are sending me a sample of a new fitting tomorow (finally) so hopefully we'll have some in by the end of the week :) -
You cant adjust the tappets as they are hydraulic. Replacement is the only option if they are the cause of the noise.
-
Spotted a rather nice looking C low on splits on the A449 on saturday afternoon flashed and waved at each other :) Me and Dave were out road testing Jims car (the-dude)
-
What have they called it...Mamborghini or Lustang?

Yandards' 16VG60 - Running Report 23 Jul 15

Excellent stuff hope to see this at BVF this year :) -
tis true - i had a set and they are nicely made. the only drawback with the dubpower leads over oem jobbies is that they can be slightly more difficult to remove, due to them not having the metal outer with lugs on like the oem items. yes they do have those rubber handle things, but they aren't really long enough for the job and you'll stuggle to get your hands onto them (unless pete has revised the design since i bought mine quite a while ago now). regardless of that though they are still nice, good leads and very good value for money Yes Pete they have change the metal sleeve is the same as the VW ones, they whole lead is identical in every way.
-
IMHO the dubpower ones are as good as the standard items.
-
The cheapest ones he does are exactly the same dimensions as the standards leads, they will fit fine and are very well made.
